You are about to get into a rabbit hole... Forestella is one of my favorite groups, and they can sing just about anything... From Michael Jackson to opera, their covers are just out of this world. But, they also have great originals as well. I hope you become a fan of them as well!

@@MichaelReiter That'd be really nice. But please don't just reduce Kang to "phantom of the opera", as is so often the case, especially since his technique wasn't that mature at the time.

So mesmerizing - performance comparable to Bad Romance but more chrismatic and the individual voices come out much better - don't understand why this song is so underrated.
Korean instrumental rock (1996) completely reinterpreted and, as always, perfect in everything. Nothing to simply compare to.
Thanks for your great reaction Tauri! Forestella is one of my latest discoveries. Each of the members has a great voice, but their harmony when they sing together is outstanding.
Their group name is a mixture of "forest" and the Latin/Italian word "stella", which means star. So Forestella means a forest of stars.
Their names from left to right in this video: Ko Woorim (classically trained bass), Kang Hyungho (countertenor and rock voice, no vocal training), Cho Mingyu (tenor and leader of the group), Bae Doohoon (tenor, musical actor).
I hope to see more reactions to them on your channel. You can't go wrong with any of their performances. Some recommendations: Hijo de la luna, Je suis malade, Spread Silk on my heart, Inner universe, Time in a bottle, Nella Fantasia and of course their own beautiful song "Save our Lives" (the music video is a cinematic masterpiece).
Same here, start listening to their music in late June, and was hooked by their harmony ever since.
