- In this video you will find out the reason why Robert Plant doesn’t want a Led Zeppelin, although they performed together back in 2007 with John Bonham’s son Jason. The vocalist is the only member of the band who had been constantly on the road during the last decades also releasing new material for his solo career.

Saw Zep in 77 which was insane
If all they did now was sit down and did an acoustic set, it STILL would be bedlam getting tickets and blow the lid off the rock n roll world
One of the few bands who can stand the test of time with their immense catalog
For sure! They are timeless!
It’s been over for 44 years.
The three remaining members don’t owe us anything.
I agree
I seen Robert Plant in Noblesville, Indiana in 2020 with his Space.......... band. Plant done an hours worth of Zeppelin songs. He sand the songs he was able to sing being 70 plus years old. A Zeppelin Reunion is definitely out of the question. If only .....
......
So cool you had the chance to see him. Yeah, certainly won't happen
Another reason I feel Plant doesn't want to have a reunion is that he can't sing the old stuff anymore.
Yeah, but I think that the audience kind of accepts that. At least I go to concerts with that in mind. I've seen Deep Purple last year and of course, Gillan's voice is not the same, but it was cool as hell.
@@rockandrollgaragetv I agree with you 100%...I personally could care less if Plant can't sing all the old stuff...Just seeing Jimmy, Plant and John Paul Jones would be amazing...I saw Kiss in 1977 when Kiss were in their Prime...Paul's voice was amazing...I saw them recently and Paul's voice was gone, but I didn't care.
@@mickeyjohn2442 Exactly! We need to enjoy these guys because in 10 years there will be no one around!
It's so much deeper that you can never understand his love and respect for Bonham. Seriously who could replace Bonham?
Exactly, no one could
His son could and did. The O2 shows were a great way to close the book on this band.
@@christheghostwriter Yeah
I wouldn't care if there's no Plant singing. Without him that would be a cover band.
But at least to have the opportunity to see John and Jimmy performing, that would be cool
The band already knew if anything happened with one, quit died whatever, that the band was done. They were more connected then other bands, there was NO replacing any one of them. Though Jason did amazing filling in for his dad, it still wasn’t the same. I’d say if Plant was having a successful career, still performing & touring, he’d more then likely be into getting together. If they did, they wouldn’t need to have his high vocal range, we all know that is gone. He still preforms several Led Zeppelin songs, if he wants it in the past, he should quit relying on them these days. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love him, but I also love Page & JPJ. Plant & Bonzo were really close, & after losing his son to then lose his best friend was just to much. Jason is Plants godson, & I know he loves & is proud of Jason, Jason would be the only one to fill his dad’s place.
Been a Zep fan for over 53 years. I think its more complex than one reason. Page and Jones would be in. Jason Bonham would fill in for dad. But its all Plant. Firstly he is pissed at Page. Secondly he wants to be in charge. With his equals hes not. With his own band hes the man. And thirdly he cant sing the high note songs anymore. And i think he has adopted an approach of saying he didnt like those songs make him cringe. But i think its his way of distancing that he cant do it
You got a point, my friend
This is an informed response.
I think it’s the most honorable thing to let zep die with Bonham. He’s honoring bonzo and he’s right. Bonzo was a landmark musician and without him it’s not the same
I agree
Well Roberts age and his voice could definitely be a factor and touring is hard.
For sure!
I reckon the man wants to do other projects. It's his right.
For sure
maybe because they are full to the gills and want to rest
For sure
Old news all us Zep heads knew this years ago
For sure
So basically, they're too old now. Lol
Ahh the Stones are older and still doing it
Because he can't deliver that kind of performance anymore. There, I my just saved you 15 minutes
You don’t know why and it’s been 40 years plus so don’t talk about things you don’t know!!!!
Pete, I'm a journalist, I'm reporting what Robert Plant himself said. I'm not making things up here. If you see the video you will see what Robert Plant said about this. A journalist reports things, that's what we do ;)
Who cares
We do. Thanks for watching anyway
Dude is in his 80s. Don't really care about your deep insights. How old were you when Zeppelin was happening? Bye.
Be my guest not watching the channel then. I hope you get less grumpy inf the future. All the best to you.

I sure did. I am not one of these fckwits who spill rancid comments before even watching the video clip. Your point is...?
@@ferox965
Well, I was intrigued because the thumbnail teased me. How could I have known that it would turn out to be such vapid tomfoolery?
