    Any chance you could do a video on getting back into plyometrics in patellar tendinopathy rehab? Basically where to start & how to progress... & also some other related questions like should I keep doing slow heavy split squats during the plyo phase? If so, should I keep both under that 5-10 min range combined? Etc. Appreciate you Paul!!!

      I’m pretty sure he goes over that in the patellar tendon pain video in the program.

    Should we have a workout for knees that lasts 10 minutes or add up how many seconds we did isos to be 10 minutes?

    Can't isometrics increase motor units recruitment in experienced or new lifters

    • @danielcarmichael7002
      @danielcarmichael7002 4 роки тому +1

      it should because when you preform an isometric hold for long enough, your body needs to cycle between motor unit groups. So one unit will be working while the other takes a break, and they cycle

    Can anyone answer why do some many players weigh lift in their hoop shoes? Like what the benefit to that instead of wearing crossfit or weightlifting shoes? Always been worrying about this.

      Probably just to mentally get used mentally to dealing with those forces. What you get comfortable doing usually determines a lot

    • @readandrap283
      @readandrap283 4 роки тому +3

      There really isn’t any benefit, unless you’re doing plyometrics. You’re probably better off just going barefoot on things like deadlifts and squats, and lunges. Just don’t drop any weight on your feet.

      You probably have a weaker stretch shortening cycle and can't absorb force that effectively

    Is a 20-24inch box good for depth jump if I do 3x6 or what should I do for reps and sets?

    • @ezzinemehdi4169
      @ezzinemehdi4169 3 роки тому +1

      Isometrics are shit for cardio/conditionning.
      But for strength they're perfect, especially overcoming isos.
