I love the actress they got for Leia young! She’s obviously not trying to impersonate Carrie fisher(rip), but you can see hints of her becoming that. She has Anakin’s sass!
She definitely has Anakin’s personality for sure. That was the first thing I notice from her.
I never understood why Star Wars seems so insistent on telling us that Leia is like Padme and that Luke is like Anakin. To me, it’s always seemed like the opposite in terms of personality. Leia has Anakin’s sass, cold yet caring demeanor, and willingness to make hard choices. Meanwhile Luke is filled with compassion and love for others like Padme was.

The Pau’an species has 2 stomachs so when Reva stabbed him she probably only stabbed one stomach that and the power of the darkside can keep them alive no matter the fire of their wound hence Anakin,Palpatine, and Maul the power of the darkside keot them alive
This is just enough to take the Grand Inquisitor out of the show so it can focus on Reva and Vader as the baddies. This injury that destroyed one of his 2 stomachs is likely what causes him to be more gaunt in Rebels

I'm torn on whether Obi-Wan was referring to Padme or Satine in that exchange with Leia. Seems like the more obvious choice is Padme, but the argument could be made for Satine as well. What he says applies to both of them, but Padme is more applicable to the situation.
I think Obi told about Satine (i can mistake), but if we talk about Obi's story, i hope we talk about Satine)
I love the idea of Obi-Wan meeting Princess Leia as a kid because she really believes in him in A New Hope and this is why. I also hope she meets Darth Vader because she knows him also but isn't afraid of him in A New Hope.

The girl selling drugs who talked with Obi-Wan about daughters, was in fact Ewan McGregor's daughter: Esther Rose McGregor. He said: "I'm looking for my daughter. She was taken and she's on this planet." She said: "I was someone's daughter once, too." Perfect dialogue for real father and daughter.
I love the scene of kenobi giving the clone beggar credits. He recognised the armour, he could have stormed the temple personally. But still he showed compassion. That says a lot
The Grand Inquisitor dying here would make so much sense as to why he is shorter and has a smaller head than the Grand Inquisitor in Rebels. It’s 2 different dudes.

Bit of filler but enjoyable.
I did like that his episode does answer the continuity question from A New Hope: why didn't Leia ask "Who's Ben Kenobi? I sent my message to Obi-Wan. " when Luke dropped his name in her cell.
The clone may have been from the 501st, but it actually seems unlikely. The blue armor is actually just an indication of the rank of lieutenant, and Vader continued to use the 501st as his personal battallion after the Empire was formed - many stormtroopers were former members of the Grand Army 501st, such as the ones you see boarding Leia's ship at the beginning of A New Hope. They were known collectively as "Vader's Fist".
some say the clone obi gave credits 2 was 1 of the clones from the bad batch series
@ 9:41 I don't know who he was referring to either. It could very well be Ahsoka since obi wan and she were together from the start, and Ahsoka was always ordering Anakin and the others around where padme really never did. I'd love to know.

A lot of people are not understanding the very good strategy they are playing in this series. The idea they are developing is that 10 years without practicing and really trying to suppress Jedi techniques, Obi-Wan is really losing his abilities. He's turning into old Ben Kenobi. It's a great idea to develop continuity because it explains how the Jedi in the prequels and in the animations they seem a lot more powerful than in the original trilogy. If Obi-Wan started jumping off buildings and moving walls with one finger, it wouldn't look like he was holding back and stopped training. Inquisitors, on the other hand, train and practice all the time. Combat will not be so easy without hidden training.
My first thought was that Obi Wan was referring to Satine when he was reminded of someone by Leia
Reva used mind probe on Haja. When used against an unwilling mind it can cause pain and discomfort
Kylo used it on Poe, tried and failed with Rey, Snoke did it to Rey, we’ve seen Kanan and Ezra resist it against the GI and Seventh Sister. Maul used it on Hera and Jesse.
Examples of easier instances include Vader against Luke, that’s how he learned Luke had a sister; and Maul with Obi Wan to find out why he was hiding on tatooine

I don't know why everyone is so convinced that's the grand inquisitor we see in rebels. Grand inquisitor is just a title, and that guy is clearly not a Pau'an. it might be him and survive, but i'd e a lot more satisfied if he is really dead and we get Jason isaacs as a pau'an replacing him.

I don't think you really got Obi-Wan's reaction to Anakin be alive. Think that he, until that moment, believed that he had left his best friend to die after ripping off his legs and setting him on fire. Until that moment, he was in depression feeling guilty about this death. Despite all that lies ahead, he is still relieved.
I dont think you understood his reaction . He is having a panick attack . And a big one . In fact he did not even show this side then Qui-gon died and when Anaikin was burning .Obi -Wan has until now being abel to contoll every emotion he has inside .

‘Not a huge deal whatever’ If they kill the inquisitor and retcon **Spoiler alert**Kanans efforts to kill him in Rebels, then who knows what else they will retcon in it. Massive deal, I doubt he’s dead though.
Great episode I don't think that the grand Inquisitor is dead we've seen dark siders survive worse than that plus the third sister stabbed him in the stomach and his species has two stomachs

They should do a series about teen leia with the same actresses in a few years went she hits teenage years all the way to adult … I can’t see nobody else play leia but her. That Vader scene at the end is terrifying and I like it bc this is pure hateful and evil Vader 🥶

At this point, it should be clear that Vera’s more Sith than the rest of the Inquisitors, hence her more brutal and impulsive nature.
I don't understand how Reva didn't jump on Kenobi’s leaving ship like the 2nd sister did in fallen order and I also don't know (yet) how Reva knows who Vader really is, considering how no one is supposed to know that, as far as I know.
Also, some things I really hope are getting to see is: a mention of Satine, considering how close she was to Obi-Wan and hopefully also a mention of Ahsoka, regarding how important she was to Anakin. Otherwise, I would be quite disappointed if they would just completely ignore these things, even when Anakin's and Kenobi's relationship is the focus of this show.
Also, I think in the Ahsoka book Ahsoka was in contact with Bail as Fulcrum, couldn't she have, or any of Bail's subordinates (considering that he is like the ruler of Alderan) found Leia for him? I also found that it was weird that there weren't any guard in the woods, considering that Leia seems to go there more often on her own.
And finally, how did that Clone not recognize Obi Wan, wasn't he famous during the Clone Wars era?
Bail is not the ruler of Alderaan, he is the Viceroy of Alderaan, Leia's Royalty comes from Queen Breha, not Bail, who became royalty by marring Breha. Bail's last name before marriage is Prestor.

A random, new, low level Inquisitor knows one of the biggest secrets in the Galaxy, The True Identity of Lord VADER? Yeah What a load of BOLLOCKS!
She was probably one of the younglings seen fleeing at the beginning of episode one. If she got a glance at "Master Skywalker" slaughtering Jedi on her way out, and overheard one of the clones call him "Lord Vader" it would stick with her.
Hell, Vader may have recognized her and hand picked her to join the Inquisitors over the Grand Inquisitor's objections for that very reason. Their shitting on her constantly might be based on jealousy, and her obsession with bringing Obi Wan to him to get "What she's owed" might be rooted on his (false) promise to make her a true Sith Apprentice if she does.
All that said, I hope he force chokes the hell out of her in the end. Since I doubt Disney has the balls to do that, I'm guessing she gets redeemed and saves Obi Wan's life or something ridiculous. (Hopefully still dying in the process).
