No Time wasted looking this brilliant entertaint mission.
Cheers Lanky. Always fun to watch.
Wow, thanks, @lankypilot77 ! Glad you got to play this one, and yeah, it's LOOONG!
Great job refueling. I have been flying this jet for a while now and I've only got "refuel complete" just once.
Best way to attack the bunkers, I find, it just be under the clouds around 10,000. Run in east to west. Once the bomb is dropped, crank 90 degrees to the right. Upon reaching 90 degrees off target, start turning back to the left to keep the laser on target. This should also keep you away from those MANPADS that "may" be at the target area. ;-)
Same thing for the next targets, just try to keep to the headings in the 9-Line, you'll be good to go.
Also... If you want to try again, do the "Start from Push" option. You'll be in the action in about 7 mins. Plus.. There are 4 possible things that will happen and it's a combination of random chance what you'll get. There is one particular scenario that you didn't get that I really, really enjoyed creating.
Anyway, good on ya for flying it, and I thank you!
Thanks mate, epic mission! I was totally spent by the end of it & couldn't think straight haha.
Yes really happy with the refuel too. I was really struggling with original setting & couldn't move the stick without it jumping 5 ft on me. Adding 25 curve seems like it did the trick.
In my head 10k ft was still in range of a launch so low was my best option especially with the sa2 spike. Just filthy I didn't use mark points once had visually spotted the target, maybe less issues with tpod. Altho I need a lot more practice with it & learning commands. I haven't had a look at tacview either, not sure what launches I had at me! Thanks again, will definitely look to replay at some point. Can't believe you have more outcomes set up! Heck of a lot work
@@lankypilot778 got the job done, that’s what matters most! And a good overhead pattern , to boot!
Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I really poured my heart into this one. I’m super proud of it ;)
Another great and entertaining video. @sedlo congrats on this mission. I haven't flown it yet but will be downloading it tonight after seeing this. By far the most immersive mission I've seen. The comms are brilliant.
Top class all the way, super immersive. Let me know how you do! Have a drink nearby, might need it haha
I hope you find it interesting!
I lol'd when "two" crashed right in front of you. Good work, two.
Everytime I ask him to do anything lately he immediately ejects haha
Great mission! I never seem to remember briefings and stuff on missions so i often have my phone next to me and take photos of all the info i need 😅
Then i can always recheck them.
Anyway im away from town with my family so when they go to bed i can always check some good youtube dcs to get my fix until we return home 😁
Haha that's a good idea. Sometimes I take snapshots on the fly with the radio comms, altho on a few occasions when i bought it back up was a blurry mess 😅
Hope it's a relaxing holiday you're on away from town. Enjoy!
@@lankypilot778 Whenever you get a coordinate or a 9-Line in this mission, you can use the radio menu, F10 option to have it displayed again ;-)
Hats off on the AAR part! Especially considering you're not using VR (and lack depth perception)
Also, good to know I need to reserve enough playtime for this mission 🤭
Thanks! Yes I was stoked about getting thru the refuel, altho I have to admit the 2nd one took me about 20mins haha. So tired. I thought your one had me stretching with length!
@@lankypilot778 You'll know if you've disconnected when the "READY" light on the canopy bow lights up.
You can easily tell if you're disconnected during AAR by the green "ready" light coming on (left side on canopy bow).
I managed to hit the moving targets with GBU-12 by using PTRK and boxing CDES.
Thanks for that, yes I move my head around a bit need to pull back so I can see the light. Altho once I swear once during refuel it was out & I looked back not connected. Can't be 100% on that tho. Your right, I need a lot more practice getting the Eagle tpod into memory. I still have the other jets in muscle memory a bit so forgot when under pressure what I'm pushing!
I like to lower my seat as much as possible, I find it helps keep the lineup lights and the canopy bow in sight.
