lol.. i love vintage machines, had a 76 Elan and 78 Jag 340, but water skipping wasnt their best trait. they can definitely do it, but you need an upgraded track and a way to squeeze maximum ponies out of those old air cooled motors. i give these guys credit for tryin tho. good vid!
Gotta love the vintage ones because they're all guaranteed to sink; most do. One guy went both ways but using a wedge chassis for watercross is almost cheating.
These don't have ignition boxes they are mostly from the 70's you would probably just need to take the spark plugs out pull it over a get all the water out of it and UN foul the spark plug and there you go could probably run it again
Seems it's all about the entry, if they slow down and then get on the throttle just as they hit the water the momentum will carry them rather than just go hell for tongs then sink like a brick after about 10ft
Sunk like a rock
is this throw your vintage sled in the drink day?
Lol that wedge with the triple isn't even fair
I think that cat was overheating. Some of them hate warmer weather

That polaris sound really good, dose he have stock pipes?
Can you flush the water out and run again? Ignition boxes/electronics sealed like waverunners?
