Thank you for having the information on the honeymoon stage/murky Waters. This is where I am right now and I don’t always know when I’m full. I’ve used the measure system to limit what I eat, but I find that I’m hungry more often than I would like. With the information of adding more veggies and working more on knowing when I’m full not stuffed will help.
I really do think too many people who have this surgery believe that it is a one and done thing. Even though I had the sleeve in 2020, I give most of my credit for success in changing my entire palate and eating habits plus my environment. I'm vegan and I eat exactly what you were recommending, veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes. As I watched this, I'm having "breakfast" at noon after swimming and I preloaded on a cup of veggie soup and am now eating a cup of quinoa sweetened with bananas and blueberries, all put in the instant pot for 2 minutes. I put a tinch of maple syrup on it with a few walnuts and unsweeted coconut. It's a LOT and I can barely finish the quinoa but this will keep me filled up until dinner time. I swim, hike, bike, run, strength train and more. I'm 65 and weigh in at 140 lbs. at 5'8". My surgery was in 2020. I love eating this way and it has made weight maintenance ALMOST effortless. However, there have been some moments in time where I just seem to go off the deep end for a bit but I always get back to where I was at and NEVER give up. That's key. Thanks for the great info. Always appreciated.

I thought we weren’t supposed to have carbonated beverages after a sleeve? I was surprised about the reference to sparkling water in mocktails.
