I was baptizes just this past Sunday (11/30/14). I had been baptized as a baby but this time was mine by choice and heart. I had finally come back to church, ( a really incredible church I had never been to until just a few months ago.) I knew that getting baptized was the closing of the circle between God and I. I am so very, very blessed!! (My church is the Tabernacle Church, a Christian church that is Bible based.) I have never felt the the presence of God so strongly in any church or place before. Love this song!! Absolutely perfect!!
The baptism of a child is to acknowledge the child and it's name before God, introduce the child so to speak and to claim God's protection and the child's fealty to Him. I was NOT baptized again for the forgiveness of any sins, I ask for that from my God regularly and know that I receive it when I ask with an honest heart. My baptism was much more personal and for many reasons of my heart. I hope the same for you! God be with you and bless you.

Although I was baptized as a baby, I think of my real baptism when I got sober April 10 of last year. It was down with the old man, and up with the new, raised to walk in the way of right and true. So thankful everyday. The spirit had plans for me, and it could have easily gone the other way.

in october of 2007 i was baptized a year before my grandfather passed away he was sick but he wanted to show up and i was so happy and he passed away in 2008 and im so happy he got to come to my baptism after it was over he sung this song and i cried tears of joy and i still cry today thank you papaw clyde i love you and i miss you i know your with god now and i know you are happy

Wanted to do that for 1-2years, and the perfect storm came thru a biy ago. After I changed into dry clothing (freezing cold) I wanted this song to join this moment. LOVE THIS SONG, and after today, it will mean even more. 40 yrs ago, I was baptized by my Dad and uncle...and I did sink in the mud with each step. It just wasn't Tennessee mud. Dad and Uncle Harold have gone on ahead. I hope they were able to see me today. Love and miss you both! Hope Granny and other loved ones gone ahead saw today and joined in my minute service with me. I absolutely love this song. This song was playing in my heart the day I was baptized; it was such a moving time in my life. My family was there watching as my sins were washed away. My children, my momma, my grandma, my husband and his family. A lot has changed since those days. My marriage dissolved, my grandma passed and I have been fighting my demons; my addiction has taken every bit of who I was and crushed me. I had an awesome job that I was highly proud of, my addiction caused many bridges to burn. I would do anything to have that moment again. I miss my life so much.

I was born again and forever on September 2, 2012! And saved by my anonymous organ on May 24, 2013! Today I still fight cancer, CKD, Epilepsy, leg amputation, glaucoma, depression and anxiety , etc but I have a mansion waiting for me! Thank you Jesus! 🙏🙏🙏
