I’m a raver, heavy metal lover and a occasional hip hop sometimes rap lover. Songs like this makes me reflect about damn near the beginning of my life. I was adopted into a Jurosovich family my mom’s side of the family tree was country folk, bull riders, line dancers of country dances, cowboys and cowgirls and among other walks of life and notions. If people are listening to this from the genres i typed above would it really hurt so damn much to listen to country, jazz, big band, swing, Ray Charles, Burt Bacharach. And it’s like Jim Carrey said during the mtv’s 1999 music award speech old vhs version. “I like rap music as much as the next freighted caucasian and you know would it kill you every once in while to play a little foghat!?” I wasn’t even in my comfort zone and i still did this for all the world.
He has recorded a lot of good songs , but I must say this is one of my all time favorites. I never seen him live in concert, so I have added him to my bucket list.
