    Depending on wheel and tire setup level trucks look better than jacked up lifted truck. Imo.

      kev mar I love a lifted truck. It would be a pain in the dick with my dog and getting tools in and out everyday though.

      Luis Melchor yeah right, those are complete terrible cars. They aren’t even trucks! They’re useless. TOYOTA is where it’s at. TOYOTA is what you need to buy, that’s a good truck there. Switch now, because I get so angry when someone else personally likes silverados.

      Zander33 Linus quite possible the dumbest thing I've read on here. I used to have a 2008 Tacoma that I bought new and I now have a 2014 Silverado and wouldn't trade it for the world. I love it. It has more power and room than a Tacoma. When you grow up you might reconsider getting a big boy truck. Tacomas are for kids

    Do you know if this set up reduces your towing capabilities any? I pull a 28ft toy hauler about 7500lbs loaded so can’t afford to loose any towing

    • @3cityremodeling406
      @3cityremodeling406  4 роки тому +1

      dlawson Lawson I wouldn’t do a level kit if you’re towing that much. I had squat towing a 2-3000 lb trailer. I would do a full lift if I was towing heavy.

      Shanon Lopaka Ilar-Arnold thanks so much. I used a hair dryer on the emblems to heat up the stock glue. Then used a fishing line to go behind it and go back and forth till it comes off. Then use a drill and a 3m rubber wheel to remove the stickers and glue. Good luck.

    One more thing man. Your truck looks great, but people are saying that a level kit will mess up your ball joints and suspension. Have you had any wear and tear from your level kit?

    • @3cityremodeling406
      @3cityremodeling406  5 років тому

      Thanks. I’ve put on 50,000 miles so far without an issue. It’s been 2 years. I’ve taken long 7 hour road trips and always had weight in the back and I sometimes tow. I think if you decide to do anything, don’t go the cheap route. It ends up costing you more in the end. Spend the money on the quality parts and you should be ok.

    • @willborio8613
      @willborio8613 7 років тому +2

      I put the Rancho ready lift or quick lift whatever it's called on mine. It had the rough country blocks when I bought it. The level was easy to install. Took me about an hour and a half. I put the Rancho 9000s on the back also. I will say I'm sitting completely level now so much so I'm gonna put 1" blocks in the back to get a little more rake. If I put anything in the bed I will have to adjust the shocks to 9 and hope I don't squat. I'm thinking about going with 22x10s and putting 285 45 on the truck. I shouldn't rub since I have so much clearance with the level and it already has 275 60/20s on it. A little wider and about as tall as current. I have a 14 sierra.

      sergio rios not at all. It's not obnoxiously loud inside either. You can definitely there's exhaust on it.

    nice truck. this is sort of a piggy back off a previously asked question but how did you go about installing the aftermarket z71 badge after removing the stock badges. please be as detailed as possible. what type of glue (if any) did you use. thanks.

      Order the aftermarket emblems from eBay. They come with glue on them. First blue tape the Silverado emblem on the door. Remove them. Stick the old ones on

    How much did the level cost with them having to cut? Just the labor costs

      The level kit was about $150 to install. The cutting took place when they installed the bigger wheels. The labor cost was included in the $2300 wheel cost.
