then they say "you're searching but you'll never find it" and that's when they find it

another honorable mention is when columbo (being the detective) says lipstick is sludge, but this guy already knows, because hes the one that told him

It’s amazing how that whole sequence perfectly describes every time Columbo first talks to the suspect even though it made no sense at all

The use of chord progression in that YTPMV actually made Baby Shark fun to listen to! I never though I’d see the day.
Xanadu being mixed in makes it much more interesting and nice to listen to.
Once he said “jerk circus” I knew “jircus” was coming but the delay and the way you slid it in so naturally made me laugh so hard I choked. Such a good one

I know this is tres silly and is a _premium poop_ but I am so pleasantly distracted by the source material's cinematography - like this is genuinely gorgeous, there are so many low-aperture shots and the backgrounds all have this dreamy out-of-focus softness that make the actors really pop. This is one of the most charmingly, unexpectedly pretty poops I have ever seen - a quaint oddity. Love it

Comedy gold. Just as Columbo gets repeated on a UK tv channel on Sundays makes it even funnier as most episodes are fresh in my mind. Brilliant, Dectective Klumbo must be Columbos twin-the dialogue is pretty much the same as every episode.

I just watched this episode last night and I just wanna say the sequence from 0:20-0:27 is just about word for word how it happened in the episode. They're just bantering back and forth on puzzles and uncles and I chortled out loud when I saw it happen. Great episode btw, I recommend it.
