- Das 62 Mann starke Gebirgsmusikkorps aus Garmisch-Partenkirchen war im August 2011 zu Gast beim Militärmusikfestival in Edinburgh.

The 62 musicians strong bavarian mountain army band from Garmisch-Partenkirchen was invited to participate in the great scottish military tattoo 2011. The band plays mainly traditional music from Bavaria.

Egal was auch immer bei der deutschen Bundeswehr so passiert sein mag in vergangener Zeit.... Die Musikkorps der deutschen Bundeswehr sind einfach eine Klasse für sich!!!!
Must say I prefer the grey caps over the red berets that the German military have these days. I love this music.Perhaps that is because my whole family fought for the Wehrmacht and I grew up with this music because my father used to play it a lot on our tape recorder in the 60's. lol

戦後の山岳猟兵の制服が気に入らない。タイツのようなズボンに安っぽい制服と規格帽、まるでアメリカの操り人形宜しくだ。でも、その代わり兵士1人1人が戦時中のような緊張感から解放されたような和やかな雰囲気を醸し出している。
これだけ酷評してもドイツ山岳猟兵に興味があるので、グッドをクリックさせて貰った。
