My questions are
I don't need the INDBE for applying to MS residency program right?
You mentioned a thing about the programs that accept international dentists with a green card but I couldn't figure them out, where I search for them as I'm residing in Texas? Thank you so much
Mayada you can search any state specific program on this ada page
www.ada.org/en/coda/find-a-program/search-dental-programs#t=us&sort=%40codastatecitysort%20ascending
Most programs now need INBDE. Additionally depending on the program - may need ADAT, GRE, TOEFL. So please check the websites of individual schools you apply to before applying through PASS /Match
Thank you Dr. Sam. I watched almost all of your videos and they are very informative. I found out in New York State Dental Board Website that the foreign trained dentist can practice in New York after AEGD 2 years/ residency program other than National Dental Board exams. I read all of these but they were very confusing. Is that true or do I still need to take other regional exams? Thank you so much in advance.
Hey @Nang Lin, thanks for your kind words. I am glad all of the videos on this channel were helpful. You would still need to give a state licensing exam. Can't practice without a license. After AEGD alone, one can get a limited licence to practice. Moving from one state to another can be a bit troublesome too. Hope this helps
@@DrSamthedentisthomie Thank you so much for your reply Dr. Sam. I really appreciate it. May I know what licensing exam does NYS accept. I could not find anywhere in their website and the state does not accept CDCA exam either. I am sorry , I asked many questions.
Thankyou doctor for the video
Is there someway we can contact you
Received quite a few personal messages about the non-clinical masters program, so here it is -Dental Public health program, ua-cam.com/video/rmHdX1jKIRg/v-deo.html
where you may be able to give licensure exams and eventually be able to get a dental license.
Hi Dr Sam, Just a question with the AEGD program. Can I take AEGD from any schools that accept international students, and will be able to work ONLY in Ohio? But with ADEX exam, I can work in California as well? So it would be only Ohio and California I can work in with the completion of AEGD? Thanks
As of now yes. But please check individual state dental licensure websites of your specific interest state. These rules change often. Good luck Ryan 😊👍
Pls explain about health informatics.. Pg
Hey Roja, please check this for more info about masters ua-cam.com/video/PpmnUTdt_5c/v-deo.html
Does LDSRCS dentist work in usa without going through the coda accredited programme
Nope. Not recognized in USA
could ypu please explain what means WREB and ADEX?
Those are qualifying exam names for practicing dentistry in different states in US
Hello Dr, thankyou for this informative video. Although I have a question. If i do my Predoctoral (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental program. What will be my pathway for licensing in the US. I am really confused about this.
Hey Ahmad Khan, once you have completed DDS, based on the state you want to settle in USA, you would need to take licensure exams like NERB, WREB. Once that is done you can apply for that state license. Once license is obtained one can start practicing in that state. Hope this clears your confusion my friend.
How much would it cost to go through the CAAPID application and start studying in lets say Washinton? Total cost for the complete 2-3 years approx?
Hey there, you may check out this video for the details . Add CAAPID fees , visa etc from current video to all the school expenses in the link video. Good luck
@@DrSamthedentisthomie Hello yes I did watch the video but didn't really get what the total sum would be 😅
@@KubaLoveMe4Ever use your math my friend 😂. At least a minimum of of $300-400k is needed in any case .

HELP
Hi
I know dds is much more lucrative
But I am indian dentist in US very confused right now as dental loans are way too high and obviously process is also very big
If u bychance can please let me know why MBA/MHA are not right for us ? Is jobs/salary less (not comparing to dds but in general are they less) !!
Why almost everyone take it as bridge course?
MBA /MHA are great courses themselves. It depends on your choice and your aspirations. Mainly do you want to be in the clinical field or non clinical? What will make you happy in the long run? And can you figure out a way to do either of the courses. They are not bridge courses. A lot of people find that they like those courses for their career as well.
@@DrSamthedentisthomie I am above 30 so I am not afraid of hard work just thing is dds takes 2 yrs just to get in clg so thats why I am bit confused if its right or not to wait that much time and then sometimes people pass test but not get selected in interviews...so then it will all be waste (considering money wise too)
I like clinical and have done mds so wanted to use that its just its alot of waiting and process is long
I am good in problem solving too thats why I was thinking for Mba/Mha
I am sorry for a long explanation, m just confused
Thankyou.
