TRUMP WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS SHOES THAN ASKING ABOUT OTHERS WHO MAY HAVE BEEN HARMED. Instead of showing concern for the man that was killed instead of him, Trump called for further violence, after showing concern for his shoes. If it had been Obama or Biden, I am pretty sure that the first things they would have said would be something like ‘Was anybody else hurt?" - followed by calls for peace.
He didn't want anyone finding the lifts he has in his shoes!
He also pushed himself above and to the side of his security. He was completely exposing himself so the cameras could take pictures of him. They literally had to pick up up to get him to move.

Yeah, and in Butler, PA (pop:13,000) the local police is probably two fat guys in their 50s and a hound dog.
Trump has stiffed too many real cities for security which is why he's out in cow pastures and state parks now.
And if you don't pay your bill in advance,you don't get local police. He wanted the rally in Erie, but since he didn't pay them previously,they wanted money first. So he picked that spot.

Has anyone noticed all of his rallies are outdoors now? The billionaire who would use his own money to fund his campaign. Yet we've seen all of his ridiculous merchandise he sells to his supporters. I wonder if his campaign pushed for more lax security so that more supporters could access the rally site more quickly - and then later on the campaign can boast about the 'thousands and tens of thousands' supporters that were at the rally. If Donnie's campaign is going to cut corners in that fashion, they are inviting danger.
I can imagine the fundraising e-mails that Donnie's staff is crafting in order to open the money spigot a bit more from the sucker---, err, small-dollar donors.

At the beginning of Trump's speech last night at that RNC, he was talking about that assassination event, which has been all over the news, ---and the way Trump described it ,was completely DIFFERENT from what really took place! Trump did not just beef-up that happening, but he down right LIED about what happened. One lie after the next about that assassination event. So when Trump lies like that, most people do not trust anything that comes out of his mouth.
So yes, that can make people suspicious.
I'm 🇬🇧 and I was listening to a BBC world service reporter ..attending he's blind but he recorded the gun fire first the A15 burst of 4 or 5 from the shooter and then the different retuning shots from the marksmen which sounded like 3 shooters in different places.
The BBC guy hit the floor and then in a minute or two spoke to a guy who told him he had seen the shooter crawling up the roof and tried to tell the cops and alert the marksmen to his presence.
I subsequently saw it bar the actual guy who was shot and killed.
At first I thought Trump had ducked down and done something to his ear, then you hear the return fire. It's almost like it was staged it's almost too opportunistic.
The kid who shot at him effectively knew he would be shot by the marksmen and without body armour it was certain.
I cannot figure out why he didn't aim for a lower center point and let the burst of shots rise/ track but he was probably in a agitated state and knew as soon as he crested the roof to fire he would also be in target.
Even if it was a complete cluster.... event it's played straight into Trumps whole

Trump didn't do any of those things his first go around, and the media is just trying to scare people. The whole world thinks this Jan protest a couple of years ago was a huge joke with guys dressed up as Vikings walking around. Only the Dems morphed it into another beast. I was telling my daughter about the security today for Trump and she never even heard of the Jan protest in the states. That is how insignificant it was. I only watched a little bit of it for one day and then ignored it. We had real attempted coups in Canada. Machines guns and holding people hostage at the parliament building. We didn't have jokers dressed in Viking suits.

The protection is meant to be absolute. Secret service are responsible for Trumps protection both as a former president and as a major candidate within 120 days of an election. And the secret service website states the intent of this protection, "Protection of a candidate/nominee is designed to maintain the integrity of the democratic process and continuity of Government". And the protection they provide is meant to be based on threat assessment and on assessment of the location. Therefore the level of protection should be identical to the level given to a President.

The building the shooter was on top of, was a staging ground for the local police. The cops were literally underneath the shooter & they didn’t know, stop him or even check the area.😳
Bystanders outside were the ones to get police attention to the guy on the roof, NOT Secret Service or police. If this is their “best” than they need new recruits-this was a huge failure.
He snuck up there after they had it secured. They could not see anyone on the roof from their vantage point of being close to the building. People were walking all over that area.
