You don't even grasp what he's saying lmao. No one in this world can write a paper with context and understanding and not be able to explain specific points in the paper in great detail. It isn't about formal or informal tone, or what johnny usually sounds like when he talks to his friends, but the teachers own time spent with the student, the previous tests he's done, other teachers that have him ercm it's pretty easy to spot someone's intellectual capability when you're a teacher.

How bout revising the educational program to try teach based on actual understanding and independant thinking capability so that the students actually care about the subjects and have no need to forge knowledge since the system no longer depends on copy pasting information and no longer grades them based on memorization
Thats what essays are for, that is, to evaluate the current understand of a student. It is to develop independent thinking and understanding by asking the student to explain the topic in their own words. In the case of AI, the student is not compliant with their own process of learning.
@coreygossman6243 Yes i remember i was a student too, what im trying to say is there is a deep problem with the structure of early education, long before AI, it could be taken as a challenge to the paradigm and expose some of its flaws instead of another measure to be punitive about. Of course, this is generalising schools at large, but i have reason to believe in many respects the public education is similar in many countries, and problems reoccur. I have a belief that if students were truly engaged, testing, and thus cheating in those tests would be less relevant
