Happy Wednesday everyone. As you know we love to explore the areas that are off the normal tourist trail. Where do you like to visit the touristy or un-touristy spots. Let us know in the comments - See you all Sunday and thanks for taking the time to watch our videos - big hugs - Chris & Marianne xxx
The stone works on Churches and those mosqs etc is probably made by an Armenian. Did you know all those areas are Armenian historical lands (West Armenia) and have been inhabited by Armenians as long as human history has been documented. Unfortunately they got persecuted and massacred.
The black rocks you see are the basalt rocks from the volcanic mountain Tendürek (they are called leçe stone in Turkish). In addition, there are large and small fault lines in the region. Good trip.
You guys are doing an amazing job promoting Eastern Turkey. I have to visit Ishak Pasha Palace next time we visit Turkey. Love & respect from Bangladesh
They are falsifying the history of Eastern Turkey. Most of the old castles, historic sites in Eastern Turkey are Armenian historic sites, as well as the churches. City of Ani uses to be Armenia's capital 500 years before Turkey existed. They are there as propagandists, not telling the facts.
@@tamarchristians8100 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Pathetic comments, really... Turks live there since 11th century. It's theirs country now for a millennium, cope with it. FYI, Indo-European nomadic Proto-Armenians conquer those lands from indigenous CAUCASIAN people of Urartu. So, what's you gotta say about that, huh?

Hello both of you. You are amazing. I like turkish landscape. And all the friendly people and food. A would like to be with you over there. I spent a few days in Istanbul. It was amazing. I wish you all the best from small village in Slovenia. Görüşürüz.
Another amazing journey to see more magnificent sights and scenery. Thank you for sharing your travels. Stay Safe on your onward journeys. 🏴🏴🏴❤️
thank you very much for your videos! you are both beautiful and there is always so much kindness and emotion that I often have a tear or two falling down my cheeks. I love you, keep being so natural! 🙏🏽
Thank you for one more amazing video about Turkey. Turkey is an amazing paradise. Congratulations for sharing this amazing and beautiful video. Harika. Beautiful. Congratulations.
What an amazing place, I have always wanted to visit Iran .... please go there , but it’s quite a difficult country to enter I like tourist and off the beat and track places 🐝🌈
Thanks so much for taking us round with you again. The Ishak Pasha Palace is breathtaking. At 8.03, I agree with Marianne, that the carving looks like an alligator or crocodile. Apparently though, there is one difference between an alligator and a crocodile…the crocodile will see you in a while, and the alligator will see you later 🐊
I'm soo emotional. I'm Turkish and I'm from Ağrı province. My family is forced to migration by PKK terror organisation in 1980s. And they moved to western part of Turkey. I was born in Ağrı but I never see it. Thank you so much. I wil go there one day.

Wow great video - thanks for showing these parts of Turkey and the scenery: looks like a good scenery for an epic movie: Star Wars. However I love water and trees. And Van…man! Stunning look forward to the next video xxx
Well I'm glad Trudy survived her bump in the night. We have a similar volcanic field here in California east of the Sierras that covers about 500 square kilometres with about 40 volcanic vents and cinder cones. I wouldn't mind exploring this area you are driving through. Loved the tour of the palace and the hidden waterfalls pit stop. Van in Van....that was a good one! And I'm still here, as always. Thanks for the ride.
Wow, love that Palace brings back great cycling trip memories. Seem to remember those ruins opposite Ishak Pasha are much older. I was very politely picked up by the Police when trying to camp near that waterfall many years ago.

The palace was amazing! It's obvious no decision was made lightly in its construction. And stunningly rugged & remote landscapes! Breathtaking! Very impressed how conversational you both have become with your Turkish! ❤❤😎👍xx
Thanks Aaron - it has been one of the most wonderful and remote places we have visited - just jaw smackingly stunning - we rarely stop talking - but here we were stunned by the views and the location !! Best wishes to you and there will be a zoom call on the Tribe facebook page announced soon - so we hope you can join us xx Marianne 🌺
Thank you Tread the Globe for taking me in your journey. Turkey is such an amazing place to visit. I have been to Turkey except the east. Amazing journey!!! Enjoy.
Thank goodness for Tread the Globe on this wet and windy Saturday afternoon in the UK. Watching your Vlogs is the only thing keeping me sane 🤣. Thanks for sharing 😁
You can visit it in the western Black Sea region. Karabük Safranbolu district, Ottoman historical mansions, bazaars and bidet, historical yörük village, 450-500 years old mansions.
Thank you Chris & Marianne for taking me there without me being there lol, because this place always been on my to go list, i hope to make it one day . Thanks again and have a great safe travel.
I heard this place in Turkish-Iranian border is cold in the winter, I read the book "Not Without My Daughter". "Hi" from El Salvador (Central America) !!
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and useful! Plus motivate to travel! Cannot wait when all of us start travel easily again! Thank you for helping to promote tourism! Love it
Fun fact: Ehmedê Xanî, one can say the Shakespeare of the Kurdish Literature, has lived in that palace and died in Bazîd (Dogu Bayazid), North Kurdistan. Thank you for the video 💙
Turkey is absolutely beautiful, iv only ever been around Istanbul, Ankara, bursa, and sogut ends and I been thinking iv seen most of turkey lol iv been to turkey 3 times and always end up around the same ends, in'sha'Allah next time I go I want to go to these eastern sides too

Wonderful documentary folks, I love to visit this Ishek Pasha palace, but you have shown me in detail along with nice chat. As a Hydrogeologist, I can assure you that Turkey & Syria has lot of volcanic activity just like Italy & Japan, but not the active one. I wish that they could have Canadian Cherri or plume tree planting technology along road to palace, though soil seem fine, dig a hole, put some soil & plant a tree & attach a one litre bottle for drop irrigation.👍💖🌲🌲🌲🇹🇷🇨🇦

Have you been to Amasya?
Why dont you buy the palace and turn it into an English pub for tourists? Bandits think alike.
That mountain called Ararat is said be the spot where Noahs Ark finally rested.
