Syifa - I loved the turkish series. I am planning a solo trip to Turkey too and a was a bit aprehensive about the "solo" part with the language barrier... lol. Your series gave me the confidence I needed. I've not yet seen your other series, but I have a feeling that I'll love them too. I also think you need to get out of the classical turistic places to actually experience a culture.

@@mochammadiqbalfadillah166 yes, the word “şifa” is an Arabic word. Turkic it’s “Sağlık/Sağlyk/Sawlıq” but turks are also using manny foreign words. So basically we have more than just one word for one thing. For example we use the persian word “siyah” for black but we also use the Turkic word “kara”. Or we use the arabic word “misafir” for Guest but we also use the Turkic word “konuk”. For turks Persian and arabic is like latin for Western world

Is there a cheaper way to do them? are there any "workarounds"? i'm planning to do some trips, but i find the information online confusing and thought i ask someone with experience... Hi Michael, thanks for watching! I have done multiple PCR tests in Nepal, Indonesia, Turkey, and England so far and usually they are easy and with fast results. The price varies a lot depending on your location and the government policy. I don’t think there’s any cheaper way to do them since PCR test is pretty much the same everywhere. Airlines/countries usually require you to take the test up to 48-72 prior to departure. Hope this helps!

Nice to see Turkey once again. I had spending 9 nites 8 days in Turkey, staring from Istanbul, Cappadocia, Anatolia, etc..and then returned to Malaysia. Hopeing much that I could be there agin in any day later on
The next time you come to Turkey, you should definitely see the Black Sea. It is a place of peace. It actually has Swiss and Norwegian air. In fact, it is a perfect paradise all over Turkey, in every geography, displaying different beauties from the world. People living there are very lucky with their people and nature.

At 5:48 there are paintings on the wall of a MHP sign (Ultranationalist Turkish Party) alongside a Turkish flag. I for one am actually shocked how much BS we are fed in our media about how Turkey is doing this and that to Kurds when there are literally millions of Kurds living in Turkey! Great series. I've been learning the language because of a Turkish friend I made. Cool getting to learn some history of Turkey (Türkiye). Perhaps I may visit one day! Update: I went to İstanbul in October to meet that Turkish friend. After months of talking/video chatting, we planned our meetup and I took a ten hour flight from the east coast of the US. Definitely the best experience I've ever had in life so far. It was my first time travel solo and my first time traveling to the other side of the world. Something I will never forget. Such a beautiful looking country. That friend is also my girlfriend now so that's awesome 🤗

@@mochammadiqbalfadillah166 yes, the word “şifa” is an Arabic word. Turkic it’s “Sağlık/Sağlyk/Sawlıq” but turks are also using manny foreign words. So basically we have more than just one word for one thing. For example we use the persian word “siyah” for black but we also use the Turkic word “kara”. Or we use the arabic word “misafir” for Guest but we also use the Turkic word “konuk”.
For turks Persian and arabic is like latin for Western world

Is there a cheaper way to do them? are there any "workarounds"? i'm planning to do some trips, but i find the information online confusing and thought i ask someone with experience... Hi Michael, thanks for watching! I have done multiple PCR tests in Nepal, Indonesia, Turkey, and England so far and usually they are easy and with fast results. The price varies a lot depending on your location and the government policy. I don’t think there’s any cheaper way to do them since PCR test is pretty much the same everywhere. Airlines/countries usually require you to take the test up to 48-72 prior to departure. Hope this helps!

I for one am actually shocked how much BS we are fed in our media about how Turkey is doing this and that to Kurds when there are literally millions of Kurds living in Turkey! I mean we are told that South East Turkey is only Kurdish people so what on earth is the MHP sign doing there!!!!

Great series. I've been learning the language because of a Turkish friend I made. Cool getting to learn some history of Turkey (Türkiye). Perhaps I may visit one day!
Update: I went to İstanbul in October to meet that Turkish friend. After months of talking/video chatting, we planned our meetup and I took a ten hour flight from the east coast of the US. Definitely the best experience I've ever had in life so far. It was my first time travel solo and my first time traveling to the other side of the world. Something I will never forget. Such a beautiful looking country. That friend is also my girlfriend now so that's awesome 🤗
