After The Mummy/Dark Universe with Tom Cruise bombed Universal decided to make standalone films but let the directors have their own take on the monster they’re tackling. So no there’s no connection to any of these films. So far we have The Invisible Man, Renfield & Abigail and now the Wolf Man. They announced recently that James Wan is going to direct Creature from the Black Lagoon so I’m happy Universal is sticking to standalone stories! Also great reaction I can’t wait for the film!

It seems to me that this film will not be supernatural, but will be supposedly at the psychological level that a person thinks that he is turning into a wolf.
