- In a city of over 8 million people, it is impossible to walk the streets without running into interesting New Yorkers with unique relationships to the city. Whether it is Don Ward, the best shoe-shiner in Manhattan or Te'Devan the 6'7" Nomadic-Jewish-Healing-Freestyler. Everyone has a story that is worth hearing, but unfortunately most of them go unheard. New York City is the busiest place on earth and it is rare for someone to take a few minutes out of their schedule to stop and chat with a fellow New Yorker.
No Your City is an 8-part documentary series that offers a glimpse into the lives of these extraordinary New York City inhabitants.

This man is truly a great soul. Something as simple as helping people to remember the idea of Love. What a hero.
The paradox is that people look down on this guy even though he has the mindset of the future. Love is the key to the higher vibrations!
You don't need any talent to express love. This guy has the right idea. His talent is the act of selflessness. That's a talent.
This guy is amazing, the sad thing of it all is that people feel the need to dislike this guy because hes different - even though his intentions are pure. The man speaks of the world as it should be, happiness of being loved by the people around you, making people smile, dance and just enjoying themself, doesn't matter if it's seconds or minutes, he makes them feel free. That's how I think the world would be a beautiful place if people just followed his words and actually live for now and enjoy it while it last. He contributes happiness.

To all you folks claiming he's just a selfish, attention-starved hipster, I beg to differ. I think it's pretty clear from these mini-docs and his youtube channel that the main reason he's drawing attention to himself is to cause an interaction to happen that might make people smile or laugh. He does say "keep it simple" all the time. I think he simply wants more positivity in peoples' hearts. That seems like the antithesis of selfishness to me.
Your not grasping the heart of his message. This guy knows! He just expresses it in a fucked up way, its just his bodys instermental way of expressing the light.

OMG I am so happy to see this! I'm 40 sec into video and I always remembered seeing this guy in the city. Only saw him once, but was one of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen and always talk about it to my kids and say "do you remember....! just discovered this channel and it's awesome! It helps people laugh and smile which is a wonderful thing. Some people get upset and mad and afraid but many others laugh.
Showed someone Nickelus F’s “tanqueray” music video and Matthew is in that video. Somehow looked up “crazy love guy” or whatever to find this channel a while back. Just remembered it recently, hope you guys put out more stuff, everything on this channel is great.

I love it! we created fear indeed. is not an emotion. its an element, a by product of LIFE and adventure! a driving force. when we make it an emotion it becomes the opposite.
What claptrap. The lion stalking us in the veldt is fear. Nothing nonexistent about it.
But there are tribal men and hunters that don't necessarily fear that. You create fear. So you create that. Thats your interpretation of fear. That is not fear itself in the context of an element is present and an element is not present. The one fear as an element would enthrall you. Push you. The other would inhibit cause anxiety and stunt progress.
The emotion of felt fear stunts life. As an element it drives us. Enthralls us. You see?
The lion doesn't care if you are fearless or not. He will not pause for a philosophical chat while eating your entrails.

Yea but you don't have to fear that lmao. Its not a part of the thought process. If it happens it happens. I'm taking it back to a time before men were going to the grocery stores and defining fear. There are men out there that do not fear lions. I think there's a man that interacts with a pride of wild lions. I don't think he defines fear quite like you but he may be afraid of spiders so he doest get around them much. Besides that's irrelevant. I'm talking about fear itself. Not the emotion that causes anxiety but the fear say a cliff diver knows is present but does not look directly in the eyes. He jumps anyway. He's not turning fear into an emotion. It stays as an element. A factor to the situation that was not actual as emotions which we make actual.
