Hey I wanted to say you've been one of the best channels I've found for learning blender. Thanks for always uploading such quality content!

Thanks man. That's really appreciated 😁😁

I'm fast getting lazy about Booleaning stuff together before printing now. I just highlight all the bits, export selection only, open in 3D builder, get it to repair the model, save again and then go to slice it.

That's fair, it generally works really well. On occasions it can do some odd things though so I like to have the control in Blender to set things up as I want. But the choice is yours and if its working for you then it's the right option 😁👌

Another great tutorial. I've been going through em one by one to try and learn blender more and you're doing exactly what I want to (40k mini stuffs). The only criticism I'd have on some of the vids is you go a little fast in some parts. otherwise S+ vids

Thanks. I try to have a mix of ability levels in videos so that there is something for everyone but pacing is always a tricky one to get right admittedly.

@@ArtisansofVaul Understandable and it's a very minor complaint. I just had to go back a few times or pause but that's no big deal :)

I treated yesterday's teaser thumbnail as a challenge and pretty much did what you wound up doing, so that's tangible progress.
I was most curious if you'd do the pineapple grenade in any other way than with 2 separate cylinders. Regarding that one, is it fully ready to go 3d print-wise or are there any further topological corrections needed when union booleans are used? I'm particularly thinking about the topology of the arrow on your shoulder armor video.

      Awesome work! 👌
Generally it should be good to go. But I always apply the boolean and do a 3D print check and then if everything looks generally OK run it through 3D builder. I think this covers the main things to look out for: ua-cam.com/video/6pPDXBJiqyA/v-deo.html

Hey man, I was wondering what was the add on you use to verify that your model is 3d printable. I’m not printing anything, but I’ve been having this problem with creating non flat faces when I’m modeling something. It usually happens when I grab a face to move it. I think my topology is just bad but I like the tool you use to tell me if my face is actually flat or not because sometimes I can’t tell

This might help a bit: ua-cam.com/video/6pPDXBJiqyA/v-deo.html
I generally use the 3D toolbox add on that's in Blender and then 3D Builder from microsoft
