Not horrible but like you, I thought it would have a bag and would be better. I’m going to stick with the DIY just because of the COG and how scary that price tag with only 4 pieces. I personally think each piece should have a sold price of $200 at least that goes in that box. Thanks for trying it out and have a great weekend!

Wow, such low comps. 😳 I say definitely not worth $450. I think you can make your money back if you resell yourself since those RealReal comps are so low. Yikes, these boxes are such a risk! ❤

I received my 4/$450 designer box and threw together a rough you tube video for anyone curios about these boxes.. On the surface it looked good. Great brands. Unfortunately, I will not make my money back but I still had fun.

Thanks for the unboxing video, I am always interested in what people get in these boxes. I just couldn’t risk that amount of money for one. The shoes were great, the rest were just ok, they should have put better brands in those boxes. Thats a lot of money to over pay for some of the items. I hope you can make your money back and squeeze out a profit! 💕🤞🏼

My boxes were duds and all definitely had things I'd find in disappointing diy boxes. They sure did get us with this one, haha!

This was an ok box but it seems to me that the regular designer boxes are better sometimes. The comps were surprising for this cost of goods. Have a great weekend!!

I just watched Lindsey’s video too and I just feel mad at thredup for you guys. I think you guys got basically regular DIY box items. I think for the price you guys should have gotten at least 1 purse. I’m glad you got one pair of shoes at least. Thank you for sharing.

I think you had a pretty good box. I agree if there were a handbag or something like that I think it would’ve been much more worth it! Gotta love a handbag 😜lol. I think it’s just the risk you take in hopes that you’ll get a really good designer piece. I do love golden goose so I would’ve been happy with that lol!
The GGs were great! I was just disappointed how the other pieces comped out since the box was so expensive. You win some and lose some!

I appreciate folks trying these boxed but Thred Up did y'all dirty IMO...I hope you make your money back! I've only seen one so far where it looks definite that the reseller will make a profit!
The sneakers were cool and I do like The Kooples (wish they made my size!) but the resale isn't that great IMO. Thanks for sharing!

Very cool piece by Wang. The dress and blazer are gorgeous. Kooples makes beautful stuff. I just wish it resold for more. I'm wondering the same about the box...will I buy it again if it resurfaces?

Why is the comp for the Kooples so low... Its a gorgerous blazer. I've watched a few of this Designer box unboxings... These boxes really dont seem worth the inflated price tag.
They aren't unfortunately. 😕 I really had thought they were going to be full of higher end items. The blazer is gorgeous!! Not sure why comps are so low. I priced mine up a bit so we'll see what happens.

The comps were rough!
I was with you, I thought you were gonna get a high-end purse from YSL or Gucci and some really great brand in great condition items that made it extra special from the regular box. I would ask them in an email what made this different from the other boxes that you had to pay so much extra

Absolutely not worth the money. I feel bad for you that it was so blasé. Hate to say it but Thredup seems to really be getting greedy. Good luck selling the items.

Hmmmm. I feel bad because this box had great brands but my opinion, not worth it the price Thredup charged. On the flip side, all the pieces were really beautiful.

I really wish you well but I personally HATED everything in this box. Horrible comps as well. This is exactly why I have never purchased this box, and never will. Too many high end brands that tank for resale. People who like and can afford these brands at retail are not surfing Poshmark. But again - best of luck!!

I always have mixed feelings with ThredUp boxes, or downright disgust.
My biggest peeve is that the people who have provided this merchandise are not compensated!
As such all that thredup has invested in these is overhead costs, just like the thrift stores. Due to the sheer volume in which they both receive, and turn over items, I think the seller who sent the items in should still get paid if ThredUp makes money on their items. Here TU is making $125 per item, so the seller should receive 40% of the $125.
That didn't really occur to me, but good point!
