Just ordered mine yesterday and am so excited to try it out! On my most recent cross country to finish my night rating I realized how much feedback/noise I was getting in my previous headset and finally just pulled the trigger on the A20. Hope it's worth it. Great vid man!

I carry a small Phillips head screw driver to change the side the cord is on, or change to helicopter plug.

Very well edited video . Feels like I don’t have to read the manual when mine get delivered today . I work for a major European airline flying the Airbus and thought it’s about time I purchased one of these headsets. All the first officers I fly with have them and as I was always using the aircrafts not so brilliant headsets, I found that I was always having to ask them to repeat what they had said due to their noise ANR making the flight deck super quiet for them therefore making them speak softly. Also now with COVID around I don’t fancy sticking my lips on that soggy boom mic sponge 😂. Appreciate the video . Fly safe .

I just got my headset yesterday. Great video, thanks for uploading! I am a student pilot in South Louisiana Training on a Piper Warrior ii and Warrior iii. Any advice for a new pilot, and aspiring professional pilot?

Congratulations on your new headset! Learning to fly is life transforming. Study hard, embrace the challenges, and be resilient and ever so persistent. Keep making choices and taking steps, no matter how small, toward your ultimate goal. Never stop learning. Believe in yourself and the hard work, time, and effort will do the rest. I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

Which has better noise canceling capabilities compared to Sony's wh-1000xm4?

Its possible to use this same headset for two use like Cessna and Boeing?

Short answer is yes! There are a variety of connectors that aircraft use. Most light fixed-wing aircraft use dual plugs (that's what I have for my Cessna). I've seen dual connectors and the circular 6-pin connectors on airliners. That said, most airline pilots seem to prefer the lighter headsets (like the in-ear type) vs. the bigger A20 as the flight decks are not nearly as loud as the smaller reciprocating engine aircraft and they have to wear them for many hours (so the lighter the better). The A20 headset is available with one of three types of connectors - the dual plug, the 6-pin plug, and the U174 helicopter type plug. There are also after-market adapters available (e.g., to go from dual plug to 6-pin). For light aircraft the A20 is great ear protection and I love piping music using Bluetooth from my phone to my headset during long flights. That was a bit long, but I hope it answered your question.

Can someone please tell me whether we can connect this headset to our laptop or desktop and use this headset just like the normal Bose QC35?

There is an AUX-IN cable that can be used for your devices. Connecting with Bluetooth is probably easier (that's how I connect to my phone to listen to music while flying, but you could use it stand-alone on the ground if you wanted to).

You can switch out the cord for fixed wing use.
