- Beinn a'Bheithir via Schoolhouse Ridge | Sgorr Dhearg and Sgorr Dhonuill | from Ballachulish
This magnificent mountain ridgewalk takes in two Munros with truly outstanding views of mountain, sea and loch; a real Scottish classic. The ascent involves some easy scrambling up Schoolhouse Ridge, with an alternative suggested for those not wishing to put hand to rock. Walkhighlands - R O U T E: www.walkhighla...

Great wee film again guys! Lovely with the cloud just hanging onto the ridge....fantastic pair of mountains. Cheers Paul
Thank you Paul. That cloud was very nice indeed. 😊🙌
Superb film. Sitting here watching it laid up with ankle injury and unable to get to a hill so thanks for posting it and cheering me up 👌
Hey Andrew thank you for watching. Hope you get better soon.
In the spirit of openness and honestly that wasn’t my drone footage at the start… the part with the ridge was but not the Glencoe part. 😊🙏
Your drone footage is second to none. Lovely walk again, cheers.
In the spirit of honesty the fist three drone shots are from me. The one of the ridge is though. Cheers for watching as always Michael. 😊
Great video. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Greetings, Maurits.
Very welcome and thank you for watching! 😊🤙
lovely video , I have fond memories of doing this ridge (twice ) in the early 70's (not so busy then) and there were many more trees at the lower slopes . great footage as usual. thanks peeps
Thank you 🙏😊
Cracking video folks- what a lovely brace of mountains and a cracking route up too 👌👌👍👍
Hi Murray, Yeah really enjoyed it. It was the last hill we done after being out for about 12 days. Legs were pretty burst 💥 Hope alls well with you. All the best for now. D&L ✌️
You are both fit going over the rocks
Heheh it doesn’t often feel like that! 😂
Hi guys, fantastic opening drone footage.......
Thanks for taking me along on your wee adventure 😁

Hi Dave.. thank you! In the spirit of openness and honestly that wasn’t my drone footage at the start… the part with the ridge was but not the Glencoe part. 😊🙏
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland aye honestly is the best policy mate......nevertheless equally as good as yours 😘
Take care.
👍🏔
Ha, ha … I see you employed a load of extras in this film. Looks like you bumped into a tour group up there. Great film - brought back memories of the day we went up there. Similar weather.😄
Yeah nice bunch. Think it was a walking club. The time lapse shows them all scurrying down the ridge. Didn’t notice it until I’d edited the video.
Cracking video, very dramatic in places, I loved the mist hanging on the edge disguising the drop. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mike, hope you’re well. S thanks again for watching! 😊🙌
In the spirit of openness and honestly that wasn’t my drone footage at the start… the part with the ridge was but not the Glencoe part. 😊🙏
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 the bit with the mist I was referring to was at 4.44 , still a nicely put together video even if it's not all your footage.
Just great
Everything about it
Well done guys
Thanks very much for watching. 😊🙏
Good video
Thank you! 😊👍
Great video guys . Stunning views across to Pap and Invercoe where we've stayed at caravan site. 👌
Hi Steve.. thanks mate! 😊🙏 In the spirit of openness and honestly that wasn’t my drone footage at the start… the part with the ridge was but not the Glencoe part. 😊🙏

@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 aw right , wee cheater 🤣🤣🤣
@@summitwithstevie6934 Not really its clearly written in the info. Nice isn't it!
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 ah i see it now.
What drone are using?
Thinking of getting one
@@summitwithstevie6934 I’ve got the Mavic air. Can’t get that one now. Can’t even get spare batteries for it which is annoying because it’s perfectly fine.
Lovely footage as usual guys.Very atmospheric with the clouds. Was Ben Nevis shut so everyone was up Sgorr Dhonuill, lol?🤣
Haha yeah I think it was maybe a club, they appeared to all be together. Nice friendly bunch. Thanks Andy 😊🙌
Excellent guys, drone footage is exceptional as always. Is that route suitable for a dog, or is it a bit too scrambly and we should take the other route?
Thanks Evelyn. To be open and honest the first couple of drone shots aren’t my own work. The ridge is though. 😊🙏
It’s quite easy scrambling. Dog may need a little leg up once or twice but I’d say nothing to worry about.
In my part of the world here! :-)
Note that Beinn a' Bheithir (or anything else with a') should have a space after the apostrophe.
