    1600 miles in and the neutral issue is finally gone now, and at times it was a right struggle to find it at the end of a ride. The turning circle has caught me out twice at low speed on a tight turn and I’ve almost fallen over, it’s not great, though I’m learning what works now . My rear brake became non-existent over the winter, so had it bled and all is good now. Other than all that, it’s a lovely bike and I love riding it so much. Through lack of funds I haven’t added too much to it yet in, though that will change in time. I’ve twice knocked the rear light off like yourself and there is a knack to getting it back in! I’ve knocked the right mirror as well and that comes loose easily, though an Allen key sorts that out.

      Hi Richard , glad you like your bike ! its a great lil monster, don't drop it in turns add some crash protection its not super expensive even if funds are low, it will cost you less than needing to order new parts

    What would you say is the main difference between this and the hypermotard you got? What motivated you to get the hypermotard?

    • @RPM-ty2ju
      @RPM-ty2ju  5 років тому

      the hyper is a bit more like a swiss army knife , it can do a bit of everything, it can do hooligan, it can do track , it can do commute it can do week long motorcycle trip without breaking your back

    Hey 8300. Did you get rid of the DDS when you got the Hypermotard?

    • @RPM-ty2ju

      DDS what do you mean ?

    • @bubsiesiegel
      @bubsiesiegel 6 років тому

      8300 RPM The Ducati Corse stick that plugs into the ECU connector. At a point you said it’s worth it’s weight in gold hahaha. Some people call it a DDC. Others call it a Up-Map. I really wanna find one.

    • @RPM-ty2ju
      @RPM-ty2ju  6 років тому

      yes i got rid of it sold the bike with the upmap and exhaust , sorry i can't help you out

      loved my M600 , had a lot of fun on my 797 , and i can't wait to get my hypermotard back , sadly i crashed it after only 300km and fucked up my leg a bit , been more than 6 month in rehab but we are getting close to riding again .... dreamlike would be 1199 superlegerra

      thanks and hope u get back on the bike soon! Which bike do u think is more comfortable for long distances? (200 - 400 km), the 797 or the hypermotard?

    • @RPM-ty2ju
      @RPM-ty2ju  6 років тому

      did a 3000 km trip in one week trip and i must say the 797 was very comfortable except of the parts where we had to do long highway stretches ( last day of the trip to get back home ) 250KM straight in one go no big turns to change your position on the saddle my ass was numb after the first hour of riding and it did not get better , but if you stand up on your pegs you can help that a bit but that only lasts moments

    If we compare it with cbr650f, one of which is best. Please comment sir :)

    • @RPM-ty2ju
      @RPM-ty2ju  6 років тому +1

      i honestly do not know , i have never ridden a cbr650F , one is 2 cylinder vs 4 , i think the 797 has a less aggressive seating position

    • @vickyvm6
      @vickyvm6 6 років тому

      Sir I compared on the basis of their technical specifications, I noticed 797 give much of torque at lower rpm but at same time 650f give 63kw power at 11000.rpm. :):) I have admire ducati 797 most :):)

    • @RPM-ty2ju
      @RPM-ty2ju  6 років тому +2

      yeah the Doc has a lot of torque , but since its only 2 cylinder it does not climb as high in rpm as the cbr... personally i feel the duc has more "usable" power not only top end high rpm power
