I think having TOXIC as the title track instead of BODY shows to me that they're focusing less on the bombastic side of music. While many other groups are trying to reach the top as soon as possible, MEOVV is building their foundation first I really like TOXIC but I also like that you guys keep it real and are honest when something isn't to your liking

For me, Toxic really made them stick out and I think that's the gamble they took with this comeback, which I massively respect. Toxic is very emotionally charged with a lot of symbolism and I looooove songs like that! People look for different things in their music though and that's totally fine! (I also loved Body, the choreo EATS!!) The girls have incredible personalities as well so I'm excited to see what else they bring!

I LOVED both Toxic and Body. I think it was bold to go with a simple track that showcased vocals and they used a song co-written by two members (Narin and Gawon) so for me I felt its authenticity. It was definitely more Western pop than a Kpop vibe. Body is just plain good fun and shows off great choreo. I’ve listened to it over and over and haven’t been bored. To each their own, appreciate your honest opinions (which are always expressed in a respectful lovely way). I think Kpop is usually so bold and explosive it’s really nice to go with something really stripped back.

I get what Esosa meant that it is kinda “simple” for comeback but i think they just tryna show their versatility and that’s why they released Body also which is more of upbeat dancy song, which i love also, especially their dancing. But I really like Toxic since the first listen and after like two-three other listens I became obssesed. I just really like all of their voices, the emotion, the story, also the music video. These girls are just really talented, they just need a better promotion I think. I am excited what they’ll bring in the future.

And the Studio Choom performance for Body hyped it up better for me because the camera angles did more justice to the dance. The voice you're most likely talking about is GAWON, the deep-rich voice. She and SOOIN(the husky-rich voice) are my favourite voices in the group and are my overall favourite members. What I know for sure is that these girls are insanely talented and well-rounded and that alone makes me seated for anything they have coming.

To be honest I liked toxic because it was slower and I felt it was unique because of that. It's one I listen to all the time, I'm very into chill music for background noise and most kpop is not chill music. It's great for when you need a mood boost but it's not when you just wanna be vibin.
These songs were definitely growers to me. At first listen I wasn't impressed though their voices were amazing! But after 3-4 listens, I was obsessed with both songs! They are in top 10 kpop songs released this year for me.

Right now, there is no 100% assurance about Meovv future concept. The Black Label still make it mystery. But, at least i can see the quality in execution. For song like toxic, they set up very good cinematography video, for body, they give dance class studio concept. Thats very effective and proper. And all these three songs are just introduction for this group, there is no sales so far. Hope the next comeback will impress you guys.

Esosa so unimpressed lol. I know they're still new and haven't "earned" the "blind" bias of some other groups yet. However, all 3 of Meovvs songs were so freakin good and catchy and show different sides of them. Choreo, vocals, acting, hip-hop, rapping, ballads. Not sure what else this group needs to do to earn a flip out for a half hour overreaction like other groups. i hope people don’t come bashing you for opinion… i can definitely understand what you mean! the girls are clearly talented and i love them as performers, that’s what really does it for me. i enjoy the songs for what but i can understand why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
i’m interested to see sonically where they go bc i feel like their identity is rooted in the performance of the songs rather than the songs themself. i hope for something that’s more dynamic production and lyrically.

It was an amazing comeback and it was a great choice, you're NOT the public they are looking for, this song was made to showcase vocal and visuals, you need to see the bigger picture, check all the music shows and performances of the song and you will understand, they are on TOP. Body has the tone that you were expecting maybe??? Still, i think you should maybe even delete.

I think there was an extremely toxic clap back to their first reaction and they decided to stop . I honestly understand the decision but tbh I feel it isn't fair to use the fans to judge the group especially a new group that just debuted . I hope they give them another chance in the future .

Esosa so unimpressed lol. I know they're still new and haven't "earned" the "blind" bias of some other groups yet. However, all 3 of Meovvs songs were so freakin good and catchy and show different sides of them. Choreo, vocals, acting, hip-hop, rapping, ballads. Not sure what else this group needs to do to earn a flip out for a half hour overreaction like other groups.
I feel like if these 3 songs were released by BP everyone would lose their minds just cuz of who they are.
Hopefully they grow.
