My heart broke when Alfie got so upset because he messed up the pasta
How did he mess it up ?
He didn't fully cook the pasta and he didn't realize until he put the sauce and cheese on and it was too late to put it back to boil

I'm near/short-sighted, so I have to wear glasses to watch the TV, and trust me, I get what Zoe is saying. I start to doze off, and my glasses get on my LAST nerve because I can't rest my head on a pillow or against anything without them getting in the way. Sometimes I just don't wear them at all and watch a blurry TV..haha.

Ok. PASTA subject:
Make water boil in a pan.
Put a pinch of "thick" grain salt in the water when it arrives at boiling point.
Then put in the pasta and cook it for 12-14 minutes.
Once the pasta is on a plate, put the sauce on top or, (other way), heat the sauce for 1-2 minutes in another pan (don't burn it!) and then put the pasta directly in the sauce pan. Mix everything in the pan and then serve it on a plate.
END.

Actually the whole idea of adding salt is to do it at the beginning. This is because salt lowers the boiling point of water meaning it will reach boiling point faster and so you can get cooking faster as well as adding flavour to the dish ;)
