The m16a2 in Canada is full auto because it's a full copy of the gun and the base built for the xm4 is just a carbine rifle for the m16a2

when it comes to the m16 part its actually incorrect, It gets turned into an M16A3, because they wanted to try out a full auto m16 model and this made the A3, a fully automatic m16a2, you can also turn it into an M16A1 by putting on a grenade launcher attachment

certain sources label the colt model 715 (the rifle shown in the video) as part of the m16a2 family.
the "m16a3" name is weird because it can really refer to any full-auto, post-a1 m16.
