He could probably convince me to eat terrible things if he just described them excitedly (Also, that sweater and coat make him look exceptionally handsome in this video 😍)
I was well on my way to developing a restaurant concept of my own a few years back, having held nearly every position you could want in a kitchen through various cuisines, but suddenly took a sharp left-turn into technology development in 2017, seriously screwing up my whole flow. I've always found joy in watching the SORTEDfood videos, but for some reason this one in-particular got me all emotional as I realized I'm definitely not chasing my passion in life right now; I should be burning my hands in a kitchen in New York, enjoying the beauty of food itself & meeting new people every night instead of sitting in front of a computer all on my lonesome curating content for a damned music platform. I've got to thank you guys for leading me back where I belong - With any luck, I'll be there this time next year, happy as a clam
Feel your pain left the love of food for other things (money) relising what i left behind in the next few weeks hoping to be up and running with my own place in london 😎😎
I lost my grandad to cancer 2 weeks ago and his funeral was this morning and your videos have really helped to cheer me up... I love the videos, keep up the work guys
Sorry to hear about that. I don't know if this will help, but when my grandpa died this phrase really helped me stay positive. It is "grief because he died, or smile because he lived. Hope this helped!
Ben really shines in this episode, his enthusiasm for food, his ability to pick out various flavors within a dish and eloquently lay them out in a way that makes sense, his rather adorable charm (though I might be a bit bias). The friendship Barry and Jamie have is in full view here with the charming jabs, the silly back and forth, Barry hand feeding Jamie french fries, it was all lovely to see. James and his observant, meticulous qualities, and how the pairings really seemed to grow on him was really nice to see. -and I'll fully admit, Ben's "can I have a kiss" line made my cheeks redden a bit.

You all should do a contest where you all have to talk in an American Accent. And every time you forget you loose a ingredient or gain an unwanted one.
But their accent is one of the best things of the channel (in my opinion) why take it away? It would be better if they had to speak in a foreign language and win ingredients/points when they speak it right lost when they used English or speak gibberish... just my opinion.
Really gotta compliment you guys! The quality in the new videos is just out of this world fantastic, I absolutely love it! Please keep the good work up :)
Just straight up Japanese would be too tough. maybe a recipe that's gone through Google translate from English to Japanese back to English however... Well just look at the difference when I did that with the first shrimp fettuccine alfredo recipe from Google. Original: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. In a large skillet, cook and stir shrimp and garlic in the butter for about one minute. Pour in half and half; stir. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese in one tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly. After all Parmesan is added, mix in parsley and salt. Stir frequently making sure it does not boil. Sauce will take a while to thicken. When sauce has thickened, combine with cooked pasta noodles; serve hot. E to J to E translated: Boil brine with big salt. Add pasta for 8 to 10 minutes, or cook until al dente is made. drain. Cook and shrimp and garlic in butter for about 1 minute in a large frying pan. Pour in half. mix. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese at a time with a spoonful and stir constantly. Add all Parmesan and mix with parsley and salt. Stir frequently so as not to boil. It will take some time for the source to thicken. When sauce becomes dense, please match with pasta noodles cooked. Become hot.
@@Reyn_Roadstorm Going from English to Japanese back to English would be awesome.
