    Great video! Love all your products. That Ikea greenhouse cabinet is too cool 😎. Love your voice . Very relaxing 😌. This was almost ASMR for me listening to you talk and the noise of you rummaging through the products at the end . Thank you 🥰

    The “Christmas Fern” in the pot on the wall, it is actually a Norfolk Island Pine. If you look them up you can find more care tips on it. Great idea to keep up with some of the plants!!

    I did subscribe. I wanted to tell you about the Bonide Systemic granules. I sprinkle it on top of the soil about every 2 months or so. It not only keeps the dang gnats away, but it also keeps away the spider mites, thrips and everything else creepy crawly.

    The small white humidifier, you *hold down* that same button and the light will turn on. *Press it* again and the light will glow on & off. Just different patterns. Where did you get that round terracotta pot in the middle with the terracotta plate (on the table)?

      I think the one you're talking about is one complete piece. It came with.a plant I bought from Home Depot or Lowes. If you search the Clearance rack, you can buy a dying plant just to get the pot for 5 or 10 bucks.

    Hey hi hello, plant newbie here. do you have sand as a top layer on the plants with fungus gnats? If so, are gnats the reason you put it there and do you think it helps?

    • @chantaycarey
      @chantaycarey  3 роки тому

      Hey Janna. I did put it on top to keep the fungus gnats at bay. I think it helps but its best to bottom water though. If you top water, the sand will move and it will release the gnats.

    New here. Thanks for the Amazon finds! I subscribed. My amazon favs include pumice and fir bark for my mix, net pots, risers and stands for styling and random items i use for plants but are not planty.

    • @chantaycarey
      @chantaycarey  3 роки тому

      I haven't tried pumice yet. Is it similar to perlite?

    • @vintageelements710
      @vintageelements710 3 роки тому

      Its heavier than pertlite more like small leca so its better for fine roots.

    Cool finds! I’ve been hearing a lot about worm castings so I think I’m going to order some. I have some of the sticky traps and they work great but I also recently purchased something called Katchy which is an electric insect trap that has a UV light that attracts fungus gnats and it’s AMAZING! I’m actually going to purchase a 2nd one.

      Hey!
      I purchased 2 of those Katchy's from Amazon and they are FANTASTIC! I was going to order a 3rd...but decided to order the Fenun It's exactly the same but about $17 CHEAPER!🍃🌱🌿💚
      Fenun is $22.10
      Katchy is $39.79!
      Both work fantastic for fungus knats!

    “Um” sorry a linguistic minor here . Something I learned about is how often a person uses the word “um” which is a lot ! I know it’s a me problem ! Just wanted to point it out as it’s either due to you being nervous or other things . But good information
