This stream was the Worst Gamer Moment for Jerma and Vinny. Jerma - Buys Anti-Tank missile because it looks INSANE. Calls down Anti-Tank repeatedly. Shoots enemy once. Doesn't kill them. "What? That didn't kill him?" Continues to call it down. - Shuttle is leaving in 2 seconds. Standing by on-ramp. Turns around to throw grenade. Shuttle leaves. "Huh? It left without me?" Vinny - Puts down minefield. Teammates die going "Huh? What killed me? I didn't even see it." Vinny: "Oh I put down a minefield, careful." - Puts down minefield. No enemies around. Kills team. He has to blow up the minefield to let them in alive. They leave, then a swarm of enemies come. Ster - "Boy sure would be a good time for a minefield right about now"
Damn Ster also kinda screwed up the campaign at 3 hours, when he told everyone to extract instead of finishing the objectives. To be fair I also remember doing that myself before when I was playing at the start...
Vinny is one of my favorite additions to this circle, his humor hits just right with this crowd. He's like the cool uncle who comes around special events.
Developers and publishers must be fighting this constant battle of making sure the beginning of the game isn't too difficult so people don't give up on it too quickly.... And making the first few hours of your game not SO EASY and boring that experienced players just give up thinking it has no depth. On streams, games that hold your hand definitely look worse than ones that don't. The streamer still won't pay attention no matter how clearly you're showing information.
Great Stream, but does anyone else find it weird they complain so much about the progression system like "You mean I have to play the game in order to get items and actually put thought into what I buy and save up for." Micro-transactions are dumb, but getting super credits in this game is pretty easy. Guess it's just streamer logic of not being able to spend too much thought on the same task for too long. Also the group chat bit made me laugh so hard lol
All my friends and I thought it was a battlepass, the UI and different currencies can be confusing at first. And the progression system is fine, but I completely understand not being a huge fan of it. About halfway through the warbond it starts to get pretty grindy. The first game had a much better progression system in comparison imo
@@MrGameNukeBut there is only one big warbond. So like…what are you gonna do if you finish it too quickly? It’s not grindy it’s just slow, that’s an important difference. I’ve played like 20-30 hours and I’ve completed 70% of the main pass, that seems pretty reasonable to me.
@@LiviaReaper I posted my original comment when the game was still new, and I was new to it, so I was mostly playing 4 and 5 difficulty missions. I agree with you that the first warbond is just slower, consistently clearing higher difficulty missions makes it very reasonably paced. Major Orders also really help. We've also gotten a few other warbonds now that are much shorter, I can usually complete them in about 10 hours or less. There's actually nothing to spend my excess medals on right now as I've completed every one lol
Idk what is so complicated about the monetisation thing there are medals you get for doing missions to unlock stuff with and there are super credits you can either unlock or buy with cash. All of these "battlepasses" stay they dont go away like those in the MCC.
I like the problem i think the only bad part is that they dont explain it so people who arent used to it or arent paying enougb attention are just lost and end up hating it
@@terranaes1270 I guess the issue is that it's like 4 guys who go based on vibes and speculate infront of 10k+ people which are now under the impression that it's all fomo battlepass progression that costs money.
The "battle passes" in the MCC don't go away though, are you thinking of Halo Infinite maybe? Don't know what its unlocks look like. You can boot the MCC now and have access to all 8 series, and the ability to choose whichever one you want to unlock stuff from. The only thing that does "go away" is the exchange, or rather it very slowly rotates through all the cosmetics in it. The only thing that hasn't returned apart from the odd seasonal challenge unlock or old featured item are all the Gundam stuff from series 9. Exchange has done a full rotation since their addition without rotating back to them. Helldivers 2 seems to be the same. Warbonds will always be available and able to be unlocked in any order, while the superstore has a rotating stock of armors that will no doubt be expanded on, meaning just like MCC's exchange it might be a while before something you want rotates back into order.

i feel like the bug enemies need more distinct/contrasting designs, it kinda looks like they blend way too much into the environment, which is already sometimes hard to see through when theres stuff like fog. the robots at least have the glowing red accents. looks cool anyways
the bugs blending into the environment in the fog is an intentional design choice as you get to higher difficulties from what I can tell. The bots get their strength from being able to shoot and being heavily armored, but they are slow and light up in the night. the bugs on the other hand are melee based and fast but are mostly meat shields with no tactics so the fog that higher level bugs bring with them hides the swarm and adds additional challenge to the bugs to make them even close to as difficult as the bots. no hate btw I just had the same thought as you earlier in the game!
@@jus53 oh yeah that makes sense, i just know that in the past some games would sacrifice enemy visibility/distinction for the sake of realism(when theyre not mutually exclusive) and was hoping that wasnt the case here. if its intentional and fits with what the enemies are like then thats all good
the game is barely getting started and in the newest major order the bugs are mutating. This is a very story focused game, kinda like a DnD campaign, frankly I’ve never seen a live service game this in debt with its story and lore. It’s gonna take some time before stuff opens up and progresses, and they gotta let the players have time to also play the game while not missing out on the story. Soon we’ll even get a new faction of enemies, we’re just about to finish the “prologue” of this game I’d say. Next few months are gonna be insane.
