Just subscribed, wow Freddie King, Clarence Gatemouth Brown. Excellent, Thanks
In 1966 I was 14 years old. I grew up listening to WLAC RADIO out of Nashville, Tenn...John R, Hoss Allen and other DJ's. When I discovered "The Beat" a new TV show hosted by Hoss Allen it was like having WLAC RADIO on TV. 5 years later I became the 1st Black Radio DJ in my home town, South Hill,Va and 21 year Radio career in Richmond,Va. Thanks WLAC for helping to launch my career. MR. K will never forget those 50,000 WATTS out of Nashville, TN!!!
can't get enough!!!!!!!!!!! Love it sosososososos much!
Freddie King = sensational guitar playing!!!
The Radiants were awesome singing with one mic.
Incredible !
The drummer for the Panthers is Dallas's own Perry Roquemore,, former lead singer of the "5 Shades".
This is the good stuff, here!
Rachel thanks for posting. Love these shows!
The radiants are smoove
. Freddie kingは素晴らしい。 ロックの源泉がここにあり
gatemouthのバンドも素晴らしい
AND BILLY COX ON BASS THAT WOULD LATER PLAY WITH JIMI HENDRIX BAND OF GYPSYS WITH BUDDY MILES!!!
Watching Les Watson brought tears to my eyes. I watched him at the age of 6 years old cut 4 tracks from the Blackout Club album. The panthers were the reason I became a guitar player/singer. Thanks for having this to share. Ray Anderson Dallas Texas www.reverbnation.com/rayanderson
Thank you for sharing that, your welcome and I'm glad it brought good memories for you :)
20:19 Have You Ever Loved a Woman
These are great!!!! never heard of the show and can't seem to find any info on it. Bit the artists/performances, as well as the set/graphics, are phenomenal! How many episodes have "survived"?
FREDDIE IS B R U T A L . . .
man they're butchering Jr Walker song can't no one else sing Shotgun better than Jr Walker
Can't these so-called great guitar players play anything but bloody horrible 12-bar rubbish, and what a horrible guitar tone.
