I second Layton for compliments. It’s my signature scent, first because I love it but also because my bride loves it even more. Whenever I wear Layton which is at least three or four days a week, she tells me how great I smell. I literally get compliments on this scent from women I don’t know every time I wear it!
Do you have the original batch of Layton or one of the newer batches. I have heard that the newer batches are substantially weaker and don't last very long.
@@mikelaughlin270I have a decant of an early batch as well as two bottles from after the reformation. Honestly the new bottles perform almost as well as the old one does. Read that as 10 hours of longevity instead of 12. Scent wise the new ones are a little lighter smelling, not quite as mentholic and a bit heavier on the vanilla. To be honest I like the new batches I have a little more because the scent profile is easier to pull off in the summer as well as fall and winter. My 200ml bottle from 2023 is my signature scent and I wear it year round to amazing compliments. Your results may vary.

You need to review Francis Kurkdjian’s new scent for Dior (Sauvage Eau Forte). The guys reviewing it have no clue what they are talking about. It lasts all day long on me and gets compliments from women. It is a wonderful scent. Give a woman’s perspective on this please and set the guy reviewers straight lol.
Y le parfum is actually good, im currently trying to figure out what women like in versace pour homme and y edp, pour homme is just like a kind of lemon smell and y edp smells like kids green apple shampoo. Aventus is way better than both imo, im trying to like the others tho, i dont like gourmand scents so we are opposite there, fresh and bright and fruity for me

@@FooDandDrinkk It depends on how you want your perfume collection to be (if you want or have one) I personally don’t mind having perfumes in the same realm as long as they smell good (which is the case wit prada LI and valentino UI ) in any case Prada has a dark clean scent whereas valentino is more dark leathery ( not animalic ) sweet scent.
Sorry Sandra but as Heterosexual male I use a mans aftershave - Old Spice - not any of the fancy shmancy French women's perfumes posing as fragrances for men. Till I retired I worked in an office with 90% young women and most loved my Old Spice and flirted with me most days, ditto for the mostly younger ladies I dated in the last few decades. The ex-wife of a friend of mine bought him one of those French fragrances that you tout which are supposedly for men. He went on business to New York and he found that when ordering drinks at bars the Gays gathered around him complimenting him on his perfume but women avoided him. He figures that his ex-wife deliberately set him up & so he poured the rest of the bottle down the toilet and went out and bought Old Spice splash on lotion & lo and behold his next night at a bar he attracted a beautiful and younger woman who accepted his invitation to dinner. The lesson to be learnt here is "never mess with success" or "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
I can’t understand why it’s not acceptable to wear heavy,spicy or oud types in summer? Oud is big in hot climate countries,I wear what I like regardless in rotation so there’s no boredom
