TALA: The Stars of Philippine Belly Dance (Online Dance Showcase, 2021)

"Tala" is an online dance showcase that will feature the "stars" of the current Philippine belly dance scene.
The word "tala" in Tagalog means “a bright star” and it symbolizes the pioneers of the dance and the rising stars who serve as an inspiration to the community. This online production will feature local professional artists and multi-level dancers showcasing various styles of Oriental Dance.

Arjae Vitug (Philippines/Singapore)
In light of the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines, a lot of dancers, teachers and performers were affected by this pandemic. The Tala Online Dance Showcase is open for donations and the amount gathered will be equally shared by the local performers you see in this production.
