This is the kind of change that is completely ok and nice to make. The cleans are pleasant to listen to, flows well and Within the ruins still sound exactly like within the ruins.
Solid, if you can't handle some clean vocals just because they weren't using them in their older albums then get over yourself, it's not like they're spammed throughout the whole song and I don't see anything wrong with them experimenting in some different sounds, after all it would get boring if all their songs sounded the exact same wouldn't it? They still sound like Within the Ruins and I believe that should be the most important part

Being a huge fan of Creature, I don't really know how I feel about cleans. It doesn't sound bad, just different. The song was good but I hope the whole album isn't similar.
I don't particularly care for the cleans in this song but they don't bother me enough that they ruin the song by any means. My main issue with the cleans is that they don't sound forceful enough; they feel like these sort of ambient backing vocals that are missing a lead vocal line to really bring them together and make for a powerful chorus. Overall I like this song least out of the three new ones so far, and I think the cleans in "Death of the Rockstar" worked a lot better than the ones in this song. those complaints aside, it was still enjoyable to listen to and I'm looking forward to the rest of the album. Beautiful Agony is definitely the best single so far.
Joe needs to change it up it all sounds the same as every different album but i like the change theyre making with vocals its a wee bit different than every other song great band but this album wont sound any different.
