I’m a total fragrance novice too! I’m only now discovering what different “notes” I like and the difference between opening, mid notes, and bases. But my daughter declared I was in my “fragrance era” after wearing Light Blue only for like 10 years and finally wanting to try new things! I’ve ordered so many sample sets from different brands to try different things and every time I place a Sephora order, I pick a scent sample. I’ve been having a blast!
I got an Ellis Brooklyn sample set last summer for $30 at Sephora and LOVED so many!! I got a full bottle of Florist, and I will start wearing that more this spring! I also got some travel sizes of a few others.
I have not smelled the Apple Love or the Peach…and since I have 72 hours for your link, I’m going to go smell them today or tomorrow! Woot!

I love a good fragrance 😊 i did used to rub it in until about 2 years ago. The lady in my local fragrance shop told me not to rub it in 😮 game changer, it really makes a difference.

Their Sunfruit is my favorite summer scent! Weirdly, it smells like this discontinued setting spray that Pacifica used to make and I’ve never found anything else like it! Also, the bottle is the same color as my Jeep Wrangler and that oddly makes me happy 😂

Living in Florida my favorite fragrances can be so overpowering in the summer months. My go to scents have always been Dior’s Hypnotic Poison and Hermes Eau des Mervellies but these sound absolutely divine. This is the first I have heard of Ellis Brooklyn but I see that they have a fragrance sampler set, I think I am going to have to pick it up and try them out!!😊

I grew up with a mother that loved and wore perfume almost everyday. I remember her wearing Estée Lauder Youth Dew. He favorite and most often worn was Guerlain, Shalimar perfume. But, she had many other Guerlain as well, L’Heure Bleu and Mitsouko. I could go on and on about her collection of fine fragrances. I have only a few. My problem is perfume usually gives me a horrible headache. Currently my faves are Tom Ford Lost Cherry; Casamorati, Lira and Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle. You’ve piqued my interest with the Ellis brand. I tend to really like gourmand fragrances. I have learned to try before I buy as my body chemistry eats most fragrance and disappears quickly after giving me a killer headache! This is a great brand gift! So very pleased for you. 😊❤
We are scent twins. Your faves are my favorites too. So I think you’ll love these. I do not get gourmand fragrance headaches. But floral, I do. Estée Lauder spilled youth dew on a department store floor purposefully so people would ask about the fragrance and then she presented it to the managers!!
She was a very clever lady! Years ago I worked with a woman who wore Youth Dew. The problem was she put so much on that whether she took the stairs to go up to the second floor or the elevator those areas reeked for hours after she departed. She was also one of those people that reapplied fragrance at lunch. Also, I lived in Miami for 20 years prior coming to Tampa. The Hispanic women doused themselves in fragrance, the stronger the better. They too reapplied during the day. And the men also wore gallons of fragrance. It was a problem convincing them to tone it down. I was an advanced practice RN specializing in hematology/oncology. Patients receiving chemo are super sensitive to smells. A strong fragrance could put them over the edge. So that’s where I developed a liking for a fragrance that stayed close to my skin. I was always afraid of offending people.

I have EB Vanilla Milk. I’m kinda of torn about this one. I thought it would smell to me what you described, ordered from qvc so how they described: vanilla, creamy milky smell with a bit of cocoa in there with a lite floral mix. What I smell is vanilla hint of floral but a burnt, smoky note that overwhelms the vanilla milky scent. It is the main note which makes me not as enamored with it. It’s good for winter time.
I love layering the vanilla. To me, it just makes it so much more interesting. I definitely layer it. I think I rarely wear the vanilla on its own. It’s just gives a little bit of sweet earthiness to something bright.
I actually have heard of this brand and just never tried them, but I am definitely into vanilla and that apple. I love fruity and gourmand scents 😂. For quite some time I have been into Tom Ford cherry smoke, and several different Joe Malone fragrances, as well as Gucci. I am the queen of layering😂. I adore layering several perfumes and body mysts

I really like the apple too but it doesn’t last on me. Much nicer than kayali. The body mists also dont last on me but all are lovely for summer.
I love the body mist but I definitely need to layer those to make them stay. The vanilla stays the longest on me. I was so surprised the other day because I got out of the shower, layered on the vanilla, got dressed, went about my day and the next morning I could still smell it before my shower for the day.
I have heard of the brand but never tried them. I see they have a discovery set…I might try that. 😊

Unrelated -- I am guessing you will get the new Patrick Ta blush drop. Can you please compare the pink one to the Holiday palette from 2023 (the one with pink blush and glitter). I can't find any comparisons with that.

Have you tried the new Tom Ford vanilla perfume that came out within the last month or two? I really love it but it doesn’t last. How does this vanilla milk compare? I am very intrigued by this brand!
I have the Tom ford. I love his fragrances. It does not last. This vanilla LASTS like crazy long. I shower in the morning and put it on and, the other day, I noticed I smelled it still the next morning before my shower!
