@@insar21 I add pedal markings very liberally - not everywhere you should use them, but rather where it might not be obvious. I add more when I aim a sheet at beginners/intermediate players. That’s how a lot of classical sheet music is, too.

Immigrant space explorer, the opening track to the ost of tristamp is the most interstellar in my opinion (it fits and I dig it,wouldn't be surprised if it was inspiration)

But I felt such an instant connection with this piece, I knew I had to learn it even if it was slightly above my level. all these months later it is still my favourite thing to play even if I still struggle with some sections! I think I’m as obsessed as Knives was with it XD I definitely resonate with your being drawn to it, it’s also crazy fun for me to play as well as being just a beautiful piece of music.
