Great seeing you again! Love seeing all of your projects. The knitted cowls are gorgeous! What a good idea for the graduation cards with CDs and DVDs in them. I know that my son would have appreciated that at graduation. Enjoyed your video!
CraftyCat Stitcher Thanks for stopping by Cathy! ~Katrina
I love that blue cowl. So so so so so pretty. Look at how talented you are. You've got all sorts of skills.
LOL ... Thanks, that or I'm just crazy and have to try to do all the things.
Thanks for letting me know you had a floss tube channel!
Thanks for stopping by Dena.
I made my first pair of socks using Easy Peasy sock pattern, it is an ankle sock using knitting worsted so I could see it and it turned out pretty good, my next pair will be using sock yarn and wool. I found the pattern on pinterest. Very simple and Google instructions on the heel turn, etc. Love your cowl, I am going to look for the pattern and make one. Love your wips.
Barb Wykes Thank you Barb ...I’ve looked up that sock pattern and will look it over! Thank you for stopping by to visit and for commenting!! ~Katrina
Good to see you Katrina! Glory of Autumn looks great. Cute FFO too. Love that cowl, even if you think it's too big. As a fellow marching band geek, I think those discs and cards are AWESOME gifts! Wish I had recordings of our shows and a concert or 2 from high school. Winter has definitely been mild here in ND as well, so I'm worried we'll get slammed this month or even in March.
Kim Hollenback Thanks Kim. I have a feeling most of the kids throw it in a drawer and never watch it. I guess my real hope is they will find it again in 20 years and be excited to have it (and hopefully technology won’t have changed so much that they can still play it). I too wish I had such a thing. My mom did record a lot of my stuff, but I know its all on cassette .... I probably should see if I could find them and get them converted. I don’t think it exists, but if there were a video recording of the time my HS band got to play during halftime of a Lions game (and I had a trumpet solo), I’d especially love to have that one. Of course kids today wouldn’t understand how cool it was to say I played a trumpet solo in the Silverdome :-). I’m afraid we’re going to get slammed too .. fingers crossed we don’t at this point. Thanks for stopping by ... ~Katrina
@@TheCraftyCataloger Yup, we made it to State Finals too and it was so cool to march at the Silverdome. I had chills marching over that Lion at the 50 yd line! Ao cool! And yeah, the kids probably don't fully appreciate the disc now but hopefully they will later. A fellow band member had a recording of one of our shows but it was on VHS! I actually tried out for drum major so I have a cassette tape of the tryout song that I practiced to...still gets the blood pumping! Thank goodness I have an old walkman that still works!
Love your finish and WIPs. I have all the weenie series as well and need to get one of them started.
Cross My Stitches Thanks Jacque!

I’m enjoying this video while I work on some cross stitching.
I love the shawl that you wear as a wrap. Might have to add that to my Ravelry library.
Interesting to hear you talk about books. I’m currently reading Becoming by Michelle Obama and I’ve been reading books that my son has been reading at school in an attempt to understand what he’s been learning too. I’m like you in that I don’t like books with lots of unnecessary language in them. It really does put me off if it’s out of character and doesn’t add anything to the book. Great video. Might have to watch again (while I’m not stitching) so I can makes some notes. 😀
Ellinesscrafts Hi Lorraine (I hope I spelled that right). Thanks for watching (and I saw you subscribed ... thanks for that too!) I really like those cowls ... I feel like I don’t fiddle with them to keep them in place as much as some other pieces. I really enjoyed Michelle Obama’s book, if I’m going to read something “autobiographical” I like that style .... I have a hard time getting through them if they are dry. I recorded an update on Monday, and have it about 1/2 edited ... hopefully I can get it uploaded before it’s obsolete, lol! ~Katrina
Hey Katrina! I love those little ornaments you’re stitching for coworkers. I did a temperature stitch last year and really enjoyed following the weather. It HAS been a weird winter. Your knit wrap is so pretty as a cowl. I’m a new knitter and love seeing everything you’ve made.
Thanks Jenny! I’m always impressed when something I knit turns out and is wearable, LOL. Thanks for stopping by to visit! ~Katrina
When it comes to starting new patterns, 'need' has nothing to do with it. LOL
Taryn Verleye Truer worlds have never been spoken, LOL.
