Thanks for stopping by to visit Megan. It is crazy how nice RVs have gotten to be. In some ways, it's nicer than the house, LOL. I feel very blessed to have my own traveling vacation home. It snowed 2-3 inches yesterday (the day after I filmed that). My husband went to the campground today and took the camper home. I guess camping season is done for this year. 🙁
Good to see you again! Quite a few military folks will use their RVs to live in for temp housing when away from family, of if they're somewhere for a month or two. I'm impressed the campground is open year round! We have a kmart here in ND but not many people go to it. Very nice RV! Good progress on your projects considering how busy you are! Love the RV! I've had a few horse trailers with living quarters but I wasn't able to have any slide-outs due to weight...they really add lots of space inside!
Hi Kim! Yeah, I'm kinda surprised they are open year round, although that particular resort has some cabins. Until I ran out of propane I was keeping pretty warm, and our camper is supposedly "sealed" to make it warmer, but I'm not sure I'd want to really test that in a MI winter. We actually went to another KMart this past weekend in Hastings, MI that is in the process of closing (the clerk said Hastings and Marshall, MI were the last two in MI). I got some good deals, but it makes me a bit sad. I didn't ever shop there much, but sometimes I would go in there from time to time and find stuff. I love our new RV too ... it is amazing how fancy they've gotten. I pretty much have all the amenities I'd have at home except a dishwasher and laundry facilities (although this rig does have hookups for laundry should we ever want to add them). It's not so easy to go walking when the weather turns, is it. I'm having the same issue here in Denmark. I'd like a treadmill, but our apartment is just too small. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, lol). Lovely wips.
You are so right Karen ... I can deal with the cold to a certain degree, when the snow and ice hit that really makes things tough. Hoping I can get in a few more outdoor walks in the next couple of weeks ... Deer hunting season starts on November 15 here in Michigan so that limits my outdoor walking for a while too.
