- What are the pros and cons of living in London? Any time, any day, I won’t hide my love for London as one of the world's most famous cities, England's most populous metropolis city and capital, and the home of the British royal family. The cosmopolitan city is the dream of many who have read books and watched movies or videos about London. London is a very influential city such that when it sneezes, other cities in the United Kingdom and even Europe catch a cold. That is what living in London means.
Before anyone accuses me of being fanatical about London, I want to assure you that I know that London suffers what most large cities suffer. I'm not unmindful of the fact that some people will live in any city but London. Sometimes, you may find some justifications for the opinions of those who don’t like London. To such ones, living in London is not among the options.
However, it’s not as bad as it’s made to seem by the pessimists. When moving to London, you only need to condition your mind toward the reality that awaits you. That is why I want to call a spade a spade by showing you in this video the pros and cons of living in London.
So, let's start with the pros.

Can we stop calling the NHS free please? My taxes say otherwise! It’s free at the point of service. Not the same thing!
I visited London in june 2015. Surprisingly for me, books and music were cheaper in London than in my country (Chile).

Living there No. Holidaying, sight seeing and shopping definitely
My friends in London like to brag that they have every kind of ethnic food available. But, do they ever eat it? No, they only want the Gammon steak at the nearest Wetherspoons.
It would be lovely to visit, but too much to live there.
The NHS is anything BUT free! That is an outright lie UK tells. Myself and partner had to pay 5 years IHS fee £635 x 5 years = £3175 upfront per person to be able to receive health care services upfront for a full 5 years term of skilled worker VISA, in addition to VISA fees even though my employer provides private healthcare as a benefit. This IHS cost is exactly the same amount as executive level private health medical aid per year from the best provider in my country- so high in fact, that most of the time only C level executives can afford it.
I am sometimes a tourist in London. I wear my wallet under my jacket, so it looks like I am pregnant and then I get a seat on a crowded tube train!
There are no pros
Why do you keep referring to "The City" while showing pictures & talking about the ( majority ) rest of London. I suggest you find a script writer who knows what he's talking about. Dare I suggest a Londoner?
