I’m with you on the kids not able to do much independently. I am struggling with that in 5th grade too! If it’s not obvious in front of them they tell me they can’t find the answer. I’m starting to wonder if this is a Covid side effect because I’ve heard it from so many teachers. Crazy!
I found this to be true before Covid
Can you share the slides you use? The ones that have the daily routine listed.
My morning slide or are you talking about the ELA slide?
@@mrs_katie_in_elementary I think it's your morning slide

Have a good weekend!
Thanks for watching!!
Three more weeks😊
What resources do you use to have students read a passage, state their claim and include 1 piece of evidence from the passage? I am a special education teacher and I’m always looking for new resources to help my students practice this skill.
where is that math worksheet from?
Katie, How do you do your math centers? Do you do rotations or do you do a checklist like ELA?
Honestly I just pull flexible intervention groups on an “as needed” basis for math based on formative assessment and summative assessment data.. here is a video of another teacher explaining her math rotation you can watch for inspiration:

Where’d you get your Bible case?
It’s from @mamabooclay on Instagram! I’ve had it for years and I LOVE IT!!!
What was your training? For LETRS?
It was for our Lexia computer program! Just accessing and interpreting data
