Bruce’s rhythm playing is a much under rated element of the Shadows sound … he really drives the tunes forward.

Tommy was referring to the title of Hank's book about the Shadows;it was called 'It was in tune when I bought it'. Isn't it amazing that there are people out there who are looking to take offence on somebody else's behalf?

I often tell kids to watch Bruce's every move on his fretboard, with the Shads...he has to be the best rhythm guitarist in the biz.
Any fool can learn to pick a lead.....but rhythm? it separates the musicians from the players.
maybe somebody said "tuned" it sounded like Jew at 47 sec
