Yes, it's neccessary to address knowledge of laser safety, Reference Standards: EU EN207:2017 and US ANSI 136, In the end of 2024, EU will use latest standards: EN ISO19818-1:2021 which adding new terms and protection requirements.
Nowadays,Many users still exposed to laser radiations without Professional PPE, Even educational and hospital org. At the same time, fake safety glasses fill in the market, that make it hard to distinguish.

Thanks for a very detailed and informative video. What type of protective glasses are needed for the Zeus X 7 watt 450nm laser pointer?

@@hkn9739 That is simply not true. When using a higher powered laser it will produce much brighter light. The energy in that light can damage unprotected eyes. Even reflected laser light or indirect veiwing of the high powered beam is hazardous! Higher density/darker eye protection is required. I want to know what the experts recommend for a high power 7 watt laser.

@@hkn9739 Read what GS said in his reply to your comment. Darker goggles are required for my 7 watt burning laser.
