I used to live in queens and whenever I went to Times Square I would stay far away from these characters and ignore anyone trying to hand me a CD or bracelet. People Definetly need to do research before coming to NYC because there are scammers everywhere.

Welcome back to my hometown! This is off season for Coney Island, if you ever make it here in the summer it's a great place to go when it's in full swing. Solstice in june each year is the coney island mermaid parade. Another nyc famous hot dog is grays papaya.

I love going to NYC. There’s always so much to do. I had a Nathan’s hotdog, it was from one of the stand/carts in Central Park. I really enjoyed it. I have yet made it to Coney Island. Maybe on my next trip. Great video Nate, hope you had a great time.

I grew up down the block from John's Pizza on Jones Street, so I'm a little partial about who has the best Pizza. My mom was a widow with 3 children, and the owner would give us a free Pizza every week, that was back in the 70's and it's changed owners several times since then, but kept the recipe from the original owner.
If you ever come back when Coney is open and need a guide, we would love to show you around. It is actually two parks you were looking at Luna Park and Deno's Wonder Wheel Park. That place is like a second home to us, we even git married on the Coney Island Sideshow stage. Nathan's original is the best classic hot dog but if you are looking for something fun, Crif Dogs on St Marks Place in Manhattan is great. They even have a speakeasy through a phone booth.
Morrow if you ever come to Utah you have to check out the rides at lagoon and you have to try the break sports bar in Salt Lake City, very good brisket Mac and cheese!
It would be a great experience for you to come to Connecticut and compare nationally rated pizza places Pepe’s, Sally’s and Modern. And it’s an easy cheap flight on Avelo airlines from Orlando to New Haven, the pizza capital of the USA
Nate ,so much more to NY than Pizza & Steak Bamontes in Willamsburg BK has been there for 135 years !!! Also ,there are 1,000 eclectic spots to eat that Blows Disney World away !!!
Nate next time you’re in the city and you want pizza- it’s a little bit of a trek but head over to Queens and go to Amore Pizzeria. That’s our go to when we go to the Mets games at CitiField. Order a plain pie, the baked clams, and a salad. That’s always our order, you won’t regret it lol. You can catch a Mets game while you’re there! Or if you like to watch the Yankees, the train at Grand Central takes you right to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Super easy to get to from Manhattan.

You will LOVE Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and even the Knoxville airport entrance is kinda cool and the ride to Dollywood is Gorgeous this time of year with leafs changing. Anakista is a must see as are all of the cool things in the area, but Dollywood and its two resorts are… better than Disney in many ways and I’ve spent a lot of time at Disney. It’s not just the rides, it’s the whole vibe and that is everywhere in the area. Seriously, stop by in your way home from NYC, it’s worth it. You’re doing Awesome!!! :)
My go to places in Manhattan are serendipity, Carmines and Rays Original Pizza for those that have never been. You can go anywhere and enjoy a good meal if you get away from the tourist traps, but some are still good. You will pay more. Little Italy is where I always take people. There is a Nathan's in Hershey Park too. I remember attending the opening of that Disney Store and they let me in during the soft opening. You have to go to Coney Island during the summer to get the full effect!
Enjoy your time in NYC. Tip, never look up in Times Square. That is how they know you are a tourist . On your next visit, you should take a ride on the Wonder Wheel. 104 years old and never a breakdown.

If you really like the fries, check your local store, they may sell them in the frozen section. I live in Jersey and they sell the fries and onion rings in the freezer section of most of our grocery stores 😁
We were just in NYC and we went to Delmonicos for steak. Best steak ever! Been there since 1837. We would appreciate hearing how it compares with other steaks you’ve had. Thanks for the Di Fara recommendation. We will definitely try that next time we’re in the city.

The hotdog and halal street vendors have the best food. Taking the subway to Nathan’s from Times Square would have been a more authentic NY experience.

They have so much gear there and an awesome vibe with overhead conveyer belts transporting products around. It’s been 25 years ago for me, but it’s the most incredible store I’ve ever been to. Maybe you can find some accessories for your Osmo Pocket 3. 👍

Next time you make it to NYC, you should check out Sac’s in Astoria, Queens! Their pizza is life changing! After you grab pizza from Sac’s, you can swing by the Museum of the Moving Image nearby to check out their Jim Henson exhibit and other awesome rotating exhibits. Also, definitely catch a ride on the Wonder Wheel next time you go to Luna Park at Coney Island!
Fun! Was just at Coney Island and Nathan's in May. As a hot dog enthusiast, they are decent hot dogs, and you are right, those fries are yummy. If you are ever in Northern New Jersey, I recommend Rutt's Hut. Good Hot Dogs, but it's super fun eating in the dining room. You feel like you've been transported back in time. I paired a visit there with a visit to the Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park in the American Dream Mall.
OMG!!! Rutts Hut ripper with that mustard relish...ugh...i grew up on those. I was up there about 10 years ago and tried to bring some home...and TSA confiscated it!!! 😭

Hey Nate. An awesome place to visit in NY that you might really dig and would be fun to share is the B&H Photo Video superstore. They have so much gear there and an awesome vibe with overhead conveyer belts transporting products around. It’s been 25 years ago for me, but it’s the most incredible store I’ve ever been to. Maybe you can find some accessories for your Osmo Pocket 3. 👍

Next time you make it to NYC, you should check out Sac’s in Astoria, Queens! Their pizza is life changing! After you grab pizza from Sac’s, you can swing by the Museum of the Moving Image nearby to check out their Jim Henson exhibit and other awesome rotating exhibits. Also, definitely catch a ride on the Wonder Wheel next time you go to Luna Park at Coney Island!
Fun! Was just at Coney Island and Nathan's in May. As a hot dog enthusiast, they are decent hot dogs, and you are right, those fries are yummy. If you are ever in Northern New Jersey, I recommend Rutt's Hut. Good Hot Dogs, but it's super fun eating in the dining room. You feel like you've been transported back in time. I paired a visit there with a visit to the Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park in the American Dream Mall.
OMG!!! Rutts Hut ripper with that mustard relish...ugh...i grew up on those. I was up there about 10 years ago and tried to bring some home...and TSA confiscated it!!! 😭
