'Mr.Mr.' MV,as other said Mr. Mr MV is not their best since SM f this one just before the release with no footage backup so they just scrap some performance video and jacket scenes in it and still girls have to film the parking lot dance last minute. So probably intended story line was lost but you get the idea behind they basically create a perfect guy for themself. It still works in a way since glitch and foggy effect looks like viewer under anestisia beeing lost in perseption of whats happening around, but ofcourse fans will always wonder how good it will actually be if we got original MV cause song is just great. 'IGAB' is known as the Bohemian Rhapsody of K-pop. This song was HUGE, even though alot of people couldn't make sense of it because it was so ahead of its time. It's kind of the predecessor of Red Velvet's Zimzalabim and Aespa's Next Level. BTW:There is a reason why SNSD is mooted as the greatest girl group to ever appear in the history kpop because their ability to come up with bangers again and again even after all these years is uncannily consistent. Their diversity across just their title tracks alone is astounding. Kpop is really lucky to have SNSD to be pushing vocal delivery and music experimentation boundaries. Thanks for your reaction😊
I would argue that Catch Me If You Can was their worst video simply because everything got rushed for that release - having to adjust not having Jessica there (there is an earlier version of the MV featuring her.)
people were WILD about IGAB, that was such a crazy cb! tons of people thought the multi-style thing was too confusing but here we are, more than a decade later, and IGAB is basically a watershed moment in kpop. thanks for covering some throwbacks!
All the members of Girls' Generation are cute, so we get the wrong idea, but when they dance vigorously, they're also very tomboyish. They wear high heels on stage, so it's even more so when they do dance practice videos! One of the reasons why they're so great at using their bodies is that all nine of them are very flexible.
U cannot imagine how big and iconic IGAB was and still is ,it even got the world wide UA-cam award for the video of the year ❤️ and MrMr to this day (with You Think) are two of my fav songs by GG ever ❤

The choreo for IGAB was done by Napoleon and Tabitha (a.k.a. NappyTabs), who became famous for their involvement with So You Think You Can Dance. This isn't the first choreo they have done for SM Entertainment. They also did Call Me Baby, another iconic song with great choreo by Exo (the opening of that mv actually resembles a SYTYCD opening when they had all of the different dancers come together for a number and introduced them) as as as the film Make Your Move staring long time idol BoA and Derek Hough (who is a great dancer but can't act.) Btw, when they say Let's bring it back to 140, they aren't just referring to 140 bpm but also 1:40 in the mv, when that section began.
FUN FACT: Hyoyeon did not lose balance at the end of their Mr. Mr. Dance Practice Video-she just kinda missed her spot! 😆 Not only is she the Dancing Queen, but she also makes sure to fix her formation right away instead of just letting it slide. 😅
