Beautiful trip! How I envy your 12 days. Thank you for your amazing photography and the wonderful music selection - icing on the cake. Enjoyed this greatly.
Thank you. I have been waiting for your incredible photography to show up here again. Pretty much have the other ones memorized. That's how I get through the winter.
I would love to tag along on one of these trips about five steps behind you and just watch and listen to you and see how you capture this special place with such incredible photography. I have been there maybe 50 times and have many good pictures but the only pictures I have that are this good are in my mind as I remember. THANK YOU!
Magical ! As always ! I'll be watching again ! Just got back from AWARE, and spent some time with Ron Mildenstein ! He said you had another video up ! Thanks !
Wonderful photos as always Gary! I'm very familiar with that area and recognized quite a few locations -- particularly the campsite on Kekekabic -- I camped there just a couple of years ago. That storm on May 29 was a doozy. I was at Fenske Lake that evening getting ready for a quick trip into Slim Lake the next morning. A lot of rainy days following that storm too. Thanks for sharing your photos! -Larry
Thanks Larry! I wish I could have captured the peak of the wind with the camera, but since we had just returned to camp, we were busy storm-proofing. As least we didn't have any trees down... I heard some areas did.
Oh yeah, some areas had lots of trees down. Saw a video where someone, camped on Fourtown, had a tree crash down just a few feet from his tent. I was out on Fenske, taking an evening paddle, when the storm hit. Heard lots of trees falling. It was quite a ride! I didn't have the camera rolling at the time and definitely didn't want to let up on the paddling long enough to reach over and turn the camera on. That would have been some crazy footage. Hope you get a chance to watch my recent videos from that trip.
Great photography and putting it together in video format!!
Thanks Randy!
This is very impressive from the photography, to the video production, and the music my goodness. Thanks for your inspiration and your awesome work!
Thanks Pril! I really do enjoy putting the shows together and reliving the trip. Working on my latest trip now so stay tuned :-)

Thanks! Yes, 12 days was great... we experienced a lot of different areas and at a nice leisurly pace. It's one of the perks of being retired :-)

Thanks for watching Jim... good to hear from you and (indirectly) Ron :-)
Really enjoyed your video. I was on site 1129 on the Kawishiwi River for the 5/29 storm. Serious bit of weather we had there.
Thanks Ron, it's been interesting to hear some of the different storm accounts from people who were also up there on 5-29.
