I bought one of these and had a AirTag as well on a recent trip. They’re cheaper because they’re not as good. I had it attached to my knapsack which I was carrying around. I regret the purchase and wish I could return it.
For the entire trip I was getting notified constantly that I’d left it behind.and when I look in find my it was always a couple of hundred meters behind where it actually was.
While the AirTag in my wallet always had the correct location and updated when I moved.
I moved the militag to my luggage while driving to the airport and it was always 2km behind the actual location.
I don’t think it updates the location as often so always lags behind.
Nothing will beat the AirTag for sure. Like I said this is just a cheap alternative. I don't know which country you are from but it sucks you can't return it. I brought several of their products in different countries and it worked fine for me. I'm still using some of it today. If you can afford the AirTag just go for that one dude. Stay safe on your trips my guy!

Does it need to be close to the militag to activate the sound? Or even if it’s quite far? Like meters away.
yes, it has to be within Bluetooth range according to their website

Seems like a decent product, but at only $9 less, it doesn't seem worth it to lose the build quality, smaller size, and apple integration of the airtag, especially since it's not even available to android users????
Hey, $9 is a lot to some people lol. And I agree that the Airtag has a better build quality, this is just for people who want to save a little cash. And believe me, we are out there 😆

I think every companies afraid to make this happen in android because we know, android is an open source OS, so its very easy to acces other people location, and of course its more easy to crack other people wallet, phone, and bag location if this tool available on android😅

I’ve used Tile and loved them. The network isn’t as big as AirTag, since more people have at least one apple device than have the Tile app.. but way cheaper. I think they’re owned by Eufy now.

Yh i have 3 of these. 1 stop working after 1 month i contacted company and got new replacement one.

Wow, nearly half the price with holder included and a crappy battery. I think it’s a bargain. Does it utilize the find my network? And does it do the stupid anti stocking beep?
It definitely is a bargain lol. I'm not sure if dies utilize the find my network and yes it does the annoying beeping lol

AirTag is the best available option on the market. The price is more than fair. Also the network for AirTag is the main advantage. Any other Tag add is just paid marketing. 😪🤧

pros: 10 USD cheaper
cons: can't show where it is exactly with an arrow in app like Airtag does; doesn't use iphone's connection network (the one where all iphones connect to each other and locate each other seamlessly to useres); bigger (important for a tracker); can be easily turned off even accidentally; requires shady 3rd-party app.
yeah pretty much sums it up
It does actually use the Apple Find My Network where it pings its location through other nearby iPhones.
Also, no third party app, since it uses the FindMy app from Apple.
Hey I'm a bit confused. I read online that it does use the network of iphones to locate it, using the find my app. Could you just confirm whether it does or doesnt? And I read that it's exactly like an air tag except with that one function of the compass once you're nearby.

Yeah its not updating location without my iphone. It doesnt make sense its tracker and it says it can track with find my network. Do yours updating location without your phone? Did u test it
