I'm a little disappointed as I've only just today found your channel and I see you haven't uploaded for 7 months. I hope you're ok that's the main thing , I've got plenty of your previous to catch up on. Hopefully you will be back soon, I have a special interest as I grew up near Woodside Ferry. Always great to see people fishing well on the West Bank. When I was a kid you might of caught a"Mersey Salmon 💩 ", or worse, a nasty infection . These days are great. Thank you.
thank you unfortunately i am working away from home at the moment the channel will return after the spring next year when i can get back out fishing it sure has been a while the river is a grate place to fish now lots more to target then in the past

When I was in Spain, we rented a property 100 m from the beach , I was clambering along the rocky breakwater with a handline and little pieces of raw steak for bait and catching small unknown species. Every morning a French guy would be down with his 10m 'ish pole . If I'd had tackle there were large shoals of 2/4 lb range bright silver fish close in,see them from the lylo and pedalo. Sorry I'm off on one here,Lol. Shame you are going to miss the winter on the Mersey, Codling and whiting are starting to show just now. Anyway I'll look forward to the return of the channel, thanks again, catch you soon 🐠🐟🦈

Great video Paul, quite a few Thornbacks being caught at my local beach in Kent. I've yet to catch one though😭 Thanks for the bait tips, will give them a try next time I'm out.
