Fantastic! These fantasy games have been providing us with a lot of really great compositions. "Down by the River" from the same game is also a must listen. 👍
Don't know how you've discovered all these video game gems that I like Dan, but I absolutely love it! Great rendition as always! Everything you do is superb, thank you for the beautiful music
Such a beautiful interpretation! I wonder if you may one day play it on one of your lutes? Im sure that would sound lovely as well. In any case, thanks a lot for this!
Beautiful tune. You have a talent of finding some gorgeous songs in mysterious places. Is this from a game? Doesn’t matter. Well played as always. Thank you Dan.
Good Morning Daniel, Thank you for posting this and very pleased that the uploads have started again. How are you coping with the Reynaud's? The nails have come back OK? Have you tried nail polish to strengthen them? Anne uses UV setting nail polish as she has weak nails. A late friend of mine had Reynaud's so I know what a debilitating disease it can be. I have Polymyalgic rheumatoid arthritis (PMRA) so I often drop things as I cannot seem to get a good hold on to whatever I want to pick up. I lose the sense of feeling in my finger tips . Nothing really bad but very annoying! The joys of getting older but but better than the alternative! The gaming music is all new to me so it is a genre that I know nothing about but one that is now coming very much to the fore. I guess pretty much the same way as film scores did back in the day. Talking of Film scores, Anne and I went to see a couple of friends who were in an open air production of the "Sound of music". The stage was set up in the ruins of Eynsford Castle, a 12th Century Castle (we have that sort of thing lying about around here!) The songs and music are terrific. A song a minute and each one is a winner. I think just about everybody in the audience knew the words. One of my friends had a small speaking part and the other who is a gifted keyboard player was in the 14 piece orchestra. No small production and it has been the culmination of 4 years of planning. A great night out and local musicians and actors being supported. In a similar vein, keep playing and we will keep supporting you! Keep Safe and Well and, as ever, Keep Playing! Clive
Thanks Clive, The Sound of Music sounds like an epic production. You're fortunate to have castle ruins as a background. I haven't tried nail polish to fight the Reynaud's disease, but have used superglue which works for a while. The problem is the nails get soft and don't provide a very good plucked sound. I'm just getting to the point where I can use them reliably so I'm almost normal until winter comes along.
