LOL! Chill. It's not that I said there's something wrong with her vibrato. It's just not my favorite vibrato. It's way too heavy for my liking. I agree, it's particularly slow on her lower range. Yes, her vibrato on IWALY's climax was faster than the first verse. You know, slower vibrato has it's purpose, but it doesn't work all the time. It suits ballads more, that's why at the start of her career one of the biggest critique about her is that she's too ballad heavy. Also, almost every singer has a unique vibrato. I don't think there's a standard vibrato. But I know singers who have forced vibratos too, and a lot of them have slow ones. Leona's was natural though, just like what the reactor said. Anyway, not sure why you said her vibrato hasn't changed. If you listen to her performances from the Glassheart era, her vibrato became much faster. Just listen to her performance of Let The Sun Shine. That was the first performance where I noticed the sudden change in her vibrato. If you still can't tell the difference, then go check her performance of Somewhere Over The Rainbow on X Factor then compare it to her performance of the same song she uploaded on her youtube channel 11 months ago. Pretty sure you'll notice the huge difference in her vibrato. It still sounds very unique though as I don't think I can compare it to any other singer's vibrato. But I prefer her vibrato now.
Actually, I think the point here is that she manages to perform her vibrato ACTUALLY IN TIME WITH THE BEAT which makes it blend even more beautifully with the music, which could also be why the reviewer finds it pleasing to the ear when he says he doesn't normally like slow vibrato. And before anyone says that she just happened to have a beat that matches her vibrato, she is actually that good that she can control the speed of it (there are earlier performances where she didn't or couldn't). So, your comment that she's improved now is irrelevant because all she may have done is pull a different vibrato out of her repertoire.
