According to Mike, the fighting between them was the main reason.
Early on in the vlogging of Mike and Nelly I already saw that Mike was so caught up in his own personal dreams like being a pilot and putting up his own coffee business and Nelly was left to the sides being a supportive gf. Mike was swallowed by his ambitions. Until I noticed that love wasn’t there anymore even before they broke up. Everything happens for a reason though. All the best to Nelly.
I observed it too... he can't buy property in the Philippines if he still with Nelly. If he has a Filipino wife the ambition he has in mind will be a success.
None of them are in the wrong. Both are just not the right fit for each other. There's nothing wrong with chasing one's dreams. We all have our purpose here on Earth. It didn't work out because they in the end found out they're not compatible and that's okay
Mike was already seeking his way out before he broke up with Nelly. He just needed someone to go with him to the exit point. Not blaming him, some people are not ready to accept that ugly truth and not ready for self confrontation. Edit: no decision is perfect. One just need to know the things one can tolerate & accept the consequences.

I hope that his new girlfriend will find the time to make a living for herself because if you are living off of someone else's vlog, the well eventually runs dry. Nelly’s insights into her personal journey are deep. Getting in touch with the emotion of each moment could make it painful or pleasurable, but that’s living. She’s found her way back to who she is and more of her beautiful self to give.
Also Mike said in his vlog that WEEKS after his breakup with Nelly he was already talking with Gray (Mike’s present gf). And that’s a little too quick, don’t you think? Nelly is still trying to heal and he is already in love with a different person. He may say that Gray wasn’t the reason they broke up but I would say that she is a part of it. It just wasn’t apparent at the time.
And I feel hurt for Nelly when Mike said that he has never felt more loved or taken care of. He would compare his newly created relationship to a 14 year relationship and dare say he wasn’t been taken care of.
No wonder Nelly felt confused, angry and hurt about their break up. She couldn’t even begin to think about flirting with someone else but he is there disrespecting her like that with his new gf.
It’s unfair that Nelly helped him bring his channel up to where it currently is then just went ahead and replaced her. It’s like Nelly made the whole thesis and then a new gf put her signature on the cover.

This is very true.i tried vlogging before.and during the experience when doing the actual vlog, your presence is only 10% to the person you are with physically, and the 90% is towards your audience.they become the very important people in your thoughts and in my priorities how they will feel about the content,would they get excited or upset, and so many other things. You're just not in the moment anymore.You don't appreciate that moment for yourself and for the person that is there with you, and wanting to create beautiful memories with you.truly vlogging is like a drug who lingers in your inner thoughts and emotions and controls your mental health 100%.so take care everyone.this episode really speaks the reality why vlogging can be harmful to anyone who aspire so much to generate success and forget the reality of the setting where they believe is only for the content but never realized that it is our reality,our memories that we need to cherish every bit of it by ourselves with the people around us who is there as part of our reality..

After hearing about it today, it blew me away. Let’s say you’re in a committed relationship. You like 90% of your partner’s habits but that last 10% gets on your first and last nerve. When you get fixated on that last 10% and start looking for it elsewhere, that’s when trouble comes.Let’s say you discover someone who has that last 10% in spades. Now you’re wishing and hoping you can be together.If you make the leap and go to that other person with 10%, you’ll feel great at first. However, problems come when you discover you’re missing the 90% of partner #1. You dropped 90% to gain 10%. Was it worth it? One day Mike will realize this.

Just saw Mike's reaction vid on this podcast. I really didn't like how they approached it because Nelly's truth IS Nelly's truth. I was irked that even the grey matter gf was commenting on something she was not involved in. She can't and shouldn't compare her self love to Nelly's because she came from a different place in Laguna. Her realities are not Nelly's. She also seem very manipulative, pretentious and controlling. They kept saying they didn't want to make the vid, but they still did. But they don't have to react, it's their choice to react. Just like them, they can't stop other's from speaking. And Mike can be more sensitive to someone's mental and emotional state whether he is "not responsible" for it, whether he is naturally happy or not. He and especially his gf is the one who wouldn't keep quite and move on even if they claim they have moved on and are happy. So just move on! It's Nelly who is still in the healing process and their reactions are not helping.
I completely agree the new GF shouldn’t be there, ahe’s explaining that Mike bought her art stuffs because Mike cares for her Hobby, buys her books! Both of them had their own platform sharing how they’re relationship blossomed but Nelly never had that chance to speak up!

I was really wondering why Mike reacted to the podcast. I've seen the podcast and Nelly didn't say anything bad about him. She's just expressing how she felt and she has every right to do so. Mike's reacting to it made him look so defensive, he can't control what people will say. What's the new gf doing on the reaction vlog? It's between Mike and Nelly, she shouldn't be commenting at all. Yes she's there to support Mike, she should have supported him in silence, people are not interested to hear what she has to say. Lastly, the new gf should drop the accent it's annoying.

Can't really put "vlogging is bad for relationships" in absolutes because there are relationships that are successful too. What is glaring is using vlogging as the reason or excuse why relationships fail. Any relationship even outside of the vlogging sphere, can only work if both parties love each other and regardless of obstacles, they work through it or they just give up and use the often excuse, we keep fighting with each other. If anyone is looking for the perfect relationship ready made is fooling themeselves. Its always a work in progress and only real love for each other can sustain it. I know, I've been married 25 years and still feel like we just married yesterday. And yes we both have very busy schedules but we always find time to unplug for each other because that's what's important for us. Everything else is second and if its a choice between career and my wife, I'll pick my wife 8 times a week, twice on Sunday.
When both are together in all things and time, with lack of space in between for self expectation, may lead to discords too, perhaps.
Finally we all are learning that our work/jobs should be leading us to support our life and not the other way around. It is an excruciating process to learn but in the end the rewards of as peaceful and content existence is the only true happiness that can never be taken away from us. Much Love to Nelly & Will ❤

When I started watching NElly and Mike’s vlog I saw how Mike can be narcissistic. It felt like it was all about Mike being the lead actor and NElly was the supporting actress. I love watching NElly because I feel the sincerity. It’s ok Nelly, Mike is not all that. In reality, the perspective of breaking up with someone may involve your so-called Daily Vlogging but there is more depth than that, Will. After all, a relationship is binned between two people, and there are more meaningful reasons why they decided to end their relationship. It could be time, decisions, or people around them and the hard part is continuing a relationship without seeing that person in your future. It's always a tough decision and I hope Nelly will find real happiness in life.

Wil, daily vlogging is such a double-edged sword that seems to consume everything in its path if you allow it to. While I may miss when my favorite vloggers don't post regularly, I feel like I'd rather they take time for themselves away from vlogging so they can maintain a healthy balance. For example, I wish Daniel Marsh would post vlogs more often, but I know he understands what he can handle better than I or any other viewer can. And, in the process, he maintains the level of quality that he demands of himself. Sometimes you just have to live life with friends and family without considering the vlog. Otherwise, it becomes unhealthy and a net negative experience that's not worth doing.
This is why there is the ongoing debate if being a youtuber is seen as an official job/career/vocation. The perception is still heavily divided

I saw Mike was only looking for himself, his ambitions, the way he want to take things under control and Nelly the supportive partner. His proposal to Nelly was not genuine. He used that moment as another platform for a change in the status of his relationship with Nelly. I saw some of his not so nice treatments towards Nelly and the couple from England. I was turned off and didn’t follow the vlog for 2 years until I saw the blog of the breakup. My heart is crushed for Nelly. Well, Nelly let him take a hike and I sincerely wish you all the best . There is really no timeline for people to go into a new relationship after breaking up, it can be sooner or later. What I'm not comfortable about is seeing Mike flaunt his new gf in ALL his videos and being overly affectionate on cam. It looks so fake to me.

Both are important to keep the balance.. you can not just focus on self love.. it’s important to set your goals taking into consideration where you are in your phase of life , your age, financial situation , do you want to raise a family or live an independent life with a partner and no children…we can not achieve true happiness and fulfillment without hard work compromises and sacrifice if we are in a relationship..

I sympathize with Nelly. I, too, have a wife with so many faults. And I find new faults in her every year, And I have been married to her for almost 60 years now.
So what about couples who start a regular business together (and there are sooo many couples who do that) and have to work daily on their business just like the rest of us who have to work daily to earn a living and have a better life? Ultimately, it's not about that but the people themselves. And also, being successful vloggers, you actually had the option of taking a step back from daily vlogging if you thought it was already affecting your relationship. So again, it's not the work but the attitude that's to blame.
